Im with you. I dont get it. Ive played with many over the years who knew where to be positionally and secondly where their first touch needed to take them. I see absolutely no ability from Downs when it comes to being in the right place at the right time, nor having a good enough touch to create something for himself or a team mate.

Absolutely, Charles is a different class on the ball to Downs. Fantastic range of passing and great work rate. He does however need a presence alongside him. Agreed, but it isn't based on recycling possession and lots of short sideways and backwards passing. Still clearly wants us to be more direct.

Appreciate he scored, but Manning is not a good enough left back nor Stepehens CB. Would appreciate upgrades there.

I really enjoyed watching his individual performance. He looked like an absolute Rolls Royce of a player in there against Wrexham. Reminds me a lot of Schneiderlin at that level. Would like to see him add a little more upper body strength and he will be a top player for us. Can definitely make the jump up a level.

I have it on very good authority that the club has received an offer for Fernandes, however waiting for conclusion of the U21 Euros before considering any offers. He will not be here come September. Like most of our transfer business, will likely be late in the window.

Well that brings the curtains down on what has to be the most abjectly, poor season in football history. Nothing short of shambolic from top down (aside from Fernandes).
