  1. 7/10 for me. However, he has put in some 10/10 performances, e.g. arsenal, everton crop to mind. From the top of my head, the only goals where he is at fault would be Aston Villa's goal, Sheffield United goal, man u's second goal and if your being picky, that newcastle goal at the weekend. he does have a slight hesitation about coming off his line, and he doesn't particularly like low drilled shots, However, overall great keeper, more than happy with, and he has time on his side and he's english!

    Long injured

Long came on during the second half at St Mary’s but lasted less than 20 minutes before he was helped off following a collision with Palace defender Joel Ward. The Republic of Ireland striker, whose stunning goal knocked out Ipswich in the previous round, was taken to hospital and is likely to join a lengthy injury list which includes Morgan Schneiderlin, Toby Alderweireld and Victor Wanyama. "I spoke to the doctor and he thought he will have fractured one or two ribs and that's very painful," said Saints manager Ronald Koeman. "It's a pity because we don't have that number of players to go with all the injuries that we have. "I don't know (how long he is out). Normally three, four, five weeks."
  3. So youve gone for the three black people in our squad to have big penises. LOL Anyways, I'd say Wanyama, Pelle, Gardos and Forster
  4. It frustrates me, as last year, I suggested to all my mates that Clyne and Shaw will be future England full backs. They all laughed at me. Now if they're both playing for Man United, it would be demoralising. Even the Daily Mail posted a 'prediction' for Uniteds team next year, with the likes of Hummels, Strootman and Clyne in it. It is a shame money talks, but guess that is football nowadays.
  5. this. You're at a live football game, why watch the game on the TV Screen? Only time I look is in the event of missing the goal, or to look at the time.
  6. In Southampton.
  7. No Vegard Forren?
  8. Id say his best position is the Number 10, an attacking role, for reasons tbh stated above.
  9. Taider. Helped us get rid of Osvaldo, so he had his benefits... In all seriousness, Lambert for me- instrumental to or double promotion from League 1 to Prem, and even proved to the country he could make it at PL Level legend.
  10. He should get it, definitely! Absolutely outstanding, and would be his second this season!!! Id say second place would be Pardew, only cos he got them two wins loool, from his two games...
  11. http://forums.liverpoolfc.com/threads/369031-The-Saturday-Football-Thread/page2 http://forums.liverpoolfc.com/threads/359681-Southampton-2014-15-season/page3 some fans are obviously getting annoyed now
  12. Where is DALEK? As FOR Carver, having an emotional breakdown on TV won't get you the job.
  13. GET IN THERE. Hopefully Arsenal lose as well City can run away with it for all I care.
  14. The obligatory Pelle hits the bar. Classic. Cmon, footballing gods.
  15. Good tactical decision by Koeman, more pace in the side now, and Cork should provide better defensive stability
  16. Hes underrated.
  17. This.
  18. i take this back. oops. lol
  19. I don't think we will score until second half, where Long can play against a tired defence.
  20. That was the team I expected. We can win this, come on you reds.
  21. hopefully that trend continues for a while yet!
  22. United's away record this season: 2w, 6d, 2l. makes it even worse that they beat us at st mary's...
  23. because it would weaken us and strengthen them at this pivotal moment in time in the season? I know you'll be talking about Liverpool, and how they've got weaker now even after buying our players, but Liverpool were always going to get worse when Suarez departed, and tbf to them Sturridge has been injured too. We have a great chance of CL Spot and/or FA Cup, why ruin that now by selling a key player? He may be injured but will be very key come March, April and May.
  24. Not tall enough The BBC as well as other media sources always tell say we released him because he was too short, but in 'The Southampton Way', we said we look at both technical and ohysical attributes?? Unless 6 years ago we only cared about physical players lool
  25. not really this season... burnley and sheffield united was a confidence factor, we were on three straight defeats, and aston villa the only other result creeping into my mind, but villa park is still a tough ground for anyone, manchester united also drew there. otherwise, we've won games where we have been favourites on paper.
