Problem we have and a frustration of mine is despite the recent successes 8,7,6,8 we haven't really pushed ahead of teams like Palace and WHU in terms of appeal to players and managers it seems. In fact teams like AFCB have now closed the gap. Unless something changes we are destined for a decade of 8-17 place league finishes and the excitement of an occasional cup run..... #WeMarchOn

All the financials have shown is we pay more that we think and we sell for less than we are told. When you look at the squad we coulda had vs the squad we have and then see it cost us money you cant help but feel very let down.

The wannabe mods no opinions either way, just here to post and moan about other posters.

If i was offered a chance to double my wages id be agitating for a move too. I imagine the compromise is the £2m retention bonus someone else mentioned. If hes on 90k a week here (4.7m a year) and Liverpool have offered 180k pw (9.4m a year) the £2m (possibly tax free) retention will keep him sweet for another year.
