Did we want to finish 6th and get into Europe or did we want to give youth more chances? Don't think you could have had both last season. Koeman clearly made the right choice last season. Giving youth a chance this season saw us exit a relatively easy Europe group and exit the FA cup sharp. Don't just play youth for the sake of it. They need to be good enough. Feel that's probably why Koeman and Reed clashed.

It's funny how a players stock can rise and fall so quickly. I've always been a fan on Yoshidas, he's always been a decent backup (with the big mistakes sprinkled in) and he's been here for 6-7 years no fuss. But to jump him from 3rd /4th choice CB to £15-25m is a bit far even for some on the SWF. Since VVDs injury we have won just 4 of the 11 games, and conceded 22 goals. Can't blame all that on him, but what has he really done to justify his acceleration to one of the premier leagues elite defenders? Is it just another SWF mental bias Think it would be helpful for some to watch some football occasionally rather than just MOTD

Monaco he was 15th in his final season, next season they finished 2nd Lille he ranged between mid table and best 5th, when he left they finished 4th and then won the league Lyon he finished 4th - he leaves and next season they were 3rd Same at Nice. 11th-4th and after he leaves they finish top 3 (tbc) 20points clear of 4th place
