Agreed mate, I'd probably add Sims to that list too + Lewis and Stephens. Once he (Puel) starts getting a few breaks in fixtures he can start really coaching players and hopefully we will see a few Hatem Ben Arfa size improvements

Hes been out injured nearly 2 years..... Remember when Jay was the next BIG thing? You simply don't know the type of player that returns after such a long lay off. If his recent u23 games are anything to go by...... Well errrr To gamble on him would be.... Well probably typical of our club this season

Its not our typical model. Standard approach is normally sell for 10, replace for 4-5 However we do have precedent for this - we sold the useless Jack Cork for 800k and bought Clasie for £8m for example Sold Boruc for nothing, bought Fraser for £12m

Parallels to last season are frightening - We were absolutely diabolical last season August to end of Jan (If you ignore the away win at Chelsea, Man United and the 4 nil win over Arsenal and the 6 nil win over MKDs + the away draw at Anfield) and we have largely repeated this again this season (If you ignore the EFL cup and win over Inter) But our season (form and performances) exploded around this stage and we went P19 W12 D4 L3. No reason why we can’t repeat this again - players are rested, the bad influence (Fonte) removed and the next few fixtures very very favorable.

If Puel can work his magic like he has with VVD we could have the best CB pairing in the premier league. If we can beat Swansea and WBA to his signature id be delighted and surely Liverpool owe us/Les a few favours?

TBF if Puel wins the EFL cup, we finish 7-9th and make the semi or final of the FA cup we'd all have to acknowledge hes done very well He could possibly still do all this, so difficult to sack someone based on future potential failures. Hope for the best, expect the worst.... Puel is here all season like it or not. May as well back him while hes here

Think we will win this - Leicester have been shocking this season (League) + Worst case they would need to beat us by 2 goals to go above us... Cant see that happening

Ok so ill start..... 1) Still in 2 cups 2) Great chance of a cup final 3) Josh Sims and McQueen have huge potential 4) Favourable fixtures coming up GO....
