Koemans departure obviously upset you. Its been 6 months and you seem stuck on phase 2 denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance Koeman is a top manager - did a fantastic job here (7th and 6th) he now has one of the other "best of the rest" in 7th. Fonte is still very decent and Everton are ambitious. Wouldnt be the worst move for him IMHO.

Everton do not have a better team/squad than us (just now) but they do (imho) have a better manager. No excuses for us to finish behind WBA or Bournemouth. Think 8th this season should be our target all things considered

So Jay still speaks to Mopo and rates him as the best and VVD still speaks to Koeman and rates him as the best. Not seen a massive amount of gushing over Puel just yet - or would that typically follow after he has left?

I think Everton will build a decent side - Morgan and Gueye is v.good. Add Depay and get Bolasie fit again + Lukaku..... Ouch If they did manage to get VVD too (please no) plus a decent keeper (Hart maybe) then they could break into the top 6 no problem.

Cracking start to the season but has looked quite average last 8-10 games. Can't remember his last stand out game (Liverpool home maybe) Possibly difficult playing with different CMs every game. The spider/Vic partnership was great once it haf matured and they knew each others games

Les has told a few porkies in his time - his latest being VVD is not for sale - you then have all the he said, she said regards the timing of the Fonte transfer request and his supposide £80k a week contract which Fonte denied receiving. We dont know all the ins and outs, but to make out Reed is whiter than white is ridiculous You dont read many great things about Les, unless its a planted DM type Saints advert Monk and Vman both have issues with him too and presume they know him/of him more than most on here

Alot of what he writes is absolutely true and its not nice to read as a Southampton fan. We have sold too many players, Koeman probably did leave as our club is happy to finish 6-9th and he wants more, Puels selections have been ridiculous at times, we did go out of Europe on a whimper and without much fight, we have wasted a good opportunity this season no doubt and the Liverpool cup games will define our season. He's spot on Hes also right about nobody wanting to be here, our owner doesnt go to games anymore targets have been reset (lowered significantly) Our captain wants out, players join and intend to use us as a springboard - its all true Our club and a large percentage of fans have settled for mediocrity and even demanding more for the club i love sees me branded a "troll" We have become WBA and I wont ever be able to celebrate that - glad some can.

We’ve missed a trick I think - been found a bit flat footed. We are told time and time again that targets are identified a long time in advance and given the striker shortage and Austin’s injury Reed could have been (should have been) looking to secure a transfer Jan 1st or as earliest as physically possible. Imagine if we'd had bought in a decent striker - he could be making his debut against Liverpool Wednesday night and that would have given the fans, the club everyone a huge lift. Everything at the club just now - playing style, ambition, transfers, players attitudes ect ect all feels very lethargic

Continuity is key, been saying that all season. 20 league games in now and it's telling that only 4 out field players have played more than 1,200 minutes (equivalent to 13 games) Have a look at the sides above us - Chelsea 10 players WBA, Everton, AFCB, Spurs, Man C, Arsenal all have 9 Liverpool 8 Only Man United (6) are close to us

When the new master plan from Les is to finish/celebrate 9th - why not. Team we have is good enough for 7th - 10th place so why buy big now?
