Boufal injured at the African nations cup - Alpine called it

Feeling slightly more optimistic now If Plymouth can do there homework and stop Liverpool scoring so can we. Appreciate they rested a few but so did we (yesterday) and they still had Can, Moreno, Origi, Sturridge, Firmino and Lallana playing some part today. With a day less to prepare and one eye on Man United game I feel we could get something

Wincing as I read this effort. All over the place. 0.5/10. http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/32510554

Two different questions mate - think most expected 7th as our position once the January transfer window closed The issue with Puel isn't simply league position - posted this previously but relevant to your post... ..... My issues with Puel is not that he doesn't have us in the top 6 - in fact I acknowledged that the top 6 was not achievable with our current squad http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthrea...e#.WGuGI5Krxok The issues I have are - - His rotation policy - http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthrea...g#.WGuG05Krxok - Our lack of goals and attacking limitations Puel offers us tactically - http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthrea...s#.WGuG_JKrxok - Our horrendous playing style and appalling performances this season - http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthrea...)#.WGuHGJKrxok - The fact so many players are under performing this season - http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthrea...g#.WGuHV5Krxok - His obsession with Redmond - His delivery at pre/post matches - Our exit from Europe and our performances in Europe - All of the above in spite of having one of the most expensive squads in Europe

Redmond best young player in the PL...apparently
Heisenberg replied to sydneysaint17's topic in The Saints
Is Redmond even a young player anymore? Hes 23 in a few weeks -
Reed is resetting expectations - Seems he is in charge of EVERYTHING now so setting (failing) and then changing his own objectives and targets would be allowed I guess? He was telling everyone about the champions league ambitions in 2005 - since then weve finished 7th and 6th but old Les has decided that 9th is now something we should celebrate and go for. If this doesn't tell you all you need to know about Kat/Les and our clubs ambition nothing will. We are the new WBA - celebrate good times, come on

This ^ Not seen anyone demanding top 6 this season - our summer activity saw to that.

People sleep in till different times, we have seen this with the Puel out polls. Some have an unconditional love for Reed and have afforded him a license to thrill (in his own way) from here on in, even if we returned to the championship they would back him. I do admire the loyality of some, but for me balance is required Praise him for the work he's done but dont be afraid to question things once you see a very very clear change in direction.

Perhaps Puel should follow Koeman and demand new players
Heisenberg replied to John B's topic in The Saints
We dont buy success we breed it! + Puel knows his place here, old Les has been stung too many times by managers with their own ideas and views. Les: "im responsible for EVERYTHING to do with football at the club from the top to the bottom." Puel is just here to coach Les's players and the "Southampton way" Les has emphasised the "coach" part many a time -
We have won just 3 in 15 games, performances have been absolutely horrendous, weve been dumped out of Europe, one of the lowest scorers in all leagues and our captain just asked to leave ASAP just because you need more justification doesn't mean the rest of us are as tolerant

You smell of poo poo and wee wee

Ill go if they pay £30

All part of the long game. We have played badly this season and got out of Europe so that next season we do not have the extra exhausting 6 games. We can then have a real go at 6th spot and get back into Europe which we will then need to exit again as players cant cope. Rinse, repeat

Les Reeds favourite word... Oh profit not prophet Ill get my coat
-
Liverpool will have a day less to recover, so we need to take advantage and attack, attack, attack from the first minute Get the fans behind us and go destroy the dippers
-
Pressume Lewis was lucky not to see red? Was he booked for handling outside the area in the first half?
-
Reed will play a full strength side against Liverpool surely?
-
More excuses to continue the relentless rotation nonsense Blew it!
