Was 2 months ago when Sims impressed us all against Everton, he was fearless and attacking was his first /only thought. He was brilliant that day Hes played 30 minutes since then and Puel has managed to mold him into his type of player (head down, backwards or side passing) Puel is not giving youth a chance he is killing its spirit. He managed to do same with Hoj So many underperforming with Puel here VVD REDCARD perfect day. Happy new year PUEL

We are 2-1 down and tadic attacks at pace. We had 2 players in the box, WBA had 8.
-
Would drop us down to 9th and just 4 ahead of Leicester in 15th place
-
Lets do a WBA and hit back straight away COYR ffs
-
Crazy last 5 minutes. 2 shots on target all game = 2 goals We can win this, just need to commit a bit more forward when we attack Boufal decent
-
Ffs lasted 1 minute
-
A shot on target would be nice.... nearly 130 minutes since our last one
-
Positives: we are all over WBA here, just need to gamble bit more when we attack and this is there for the taking definitely
-
Decent ball from Tadic - again nobody there to attack it
-
Leicester deliver the 1st goal of the day
-
20 minutes in and no goals in any prem game (6) odd No shots on target for either team in this one so far - crowd doing there best to create some atmosphere

Commentator: This line up has 3 league goals between them? Is that right?

Take a look at the Nice Facebook and twitter pages around the time he left.... They were delighted He was attacked by fans a few times also and fans turned up to training to attack him too He was not popular at Nice His final season didnt save him or win him popularity either https://youtu.be/ovRbf51vOSAhttps://youtu.be/ovRbf51vOSA

are we seriously giving Puel credit for Nice being top this season? The playing style at Nice this season has changed dramatically and the Nice fans are delighted Puel left. Puel took over Nice after a poor season, prior to that they had finished top 10 a number of times and have won the French league 5x + the French cup a number of times To try and suggest he took a tiny club from obscurity to the top is a huge exaggeration Puel has won nothing in the last 16 years

Adding Tadic to the list in the hope it inspires a goal or two today or a couple of assists? Thought he started the season brightly but 1 goal and 2 assists in 21 games (non in the league since September) is very poor 9 goals 14 assists last season (40 games)

Damn knew we couldn't rely on Hull! Theyve won only once in the last 12 A team that's forgotten how to win
-
Everton do have a pretty poor squad - only Lukaku would get in our side? Possibly Gueye too? They will need some serious investment to crack the top 6

I wonder if the people that are satisfied with just existing and being at the party apply the same ambition to their personal life? Guess we are all different - people will often settle for what's available and what's available isn't always great. We are all destined to achieve greatness!

Looks strong and we lack strength innthe side Has a decent scoring record and young. Wouldnt codt too much either These guys from.the dutch league though..... Could go either way
-
Yep nicely put Happy new year mate

Develop the whole club? What does that mean? We own the stadium, we have a new training ground - whats next? Prem clubs recieve 100-150m now just for being in the league, if we really need to sell every single summer then we have not built a sustainable model Last 3 summers alone we have sold players and received 200+ million (reinvested about 60-70%) We have other income for developing the club as a whole, not everything needs to resolve around player sales like the old days

Used to enjoy his press conferences, cant watch them under Puel - his manner and tone just drains the life from me. Koeman has done well at Everton, he inherited an ageing squad that finished bottom half last season and only managed to add one or two (Bolasie then injured for season) We have a better squad than them right now and this season we should finish comfortably above them, but feel this summer they will add aggressively and we will likely sell 2-3 again and the gap between us and them will start + his justification for leaving will then start to shine through He can build something there, they have ambition that we don't it seems - he alludes to as much in the full interview

Has only managed the full 90 once in the premier league thus far and played 55 minutes combined in our European "journey" Hopefully weve not seen his best yet - not sure we will miss him
