  1. Bamford anyone?. If he recovers from injury obviously.
  2. God what a grim watch on Motd. A truly awful display with players running about like they had no direction at all. I'm tired of seeing the same players make the same mistakes game after game and yet still get selected.
  3. Its not just the manager though is it, its the whole chabang. Owners, board, training staff, management and players, the whole bloody lot. It might seem harsh including the owners in this as they are so new, but they are no more transparent than our last owner with little to suggest that they will do anything differently. What use is it if they cant offer an injection of funds because without it things will not change. You can trot out the same line of wanting to produce young and exciting players but lets be realistic, we do not have these in abundance and when we do they hardly get a look in. Unfortunately we are in a bad place and the only thing that will start to improve it is a total restructure which can only be achieved by investment.
  4. Ever wanted to witness an execution.
  5. Mystic Meg not needed.
  6. Earlier in the season whilst on a good run I remember the media creaming themselves over S Armstrong, Salisu, Livramento, Romeu and Kwp. Exactly what happened to these guys for their form to drop in unison like a stone along with the rest of the squad?. There can be only one culprit. He failed to continue with the formula that was working. He tinkered to accommodate rotation and put his trust in shoe in players with absolutely no form or right to even be on the subs bench. Ralph's inconsistency with squad selection and formation killed off the good run along with any chance of us having a reasonable season.
  7. I don't see anyone out there better than FF that is affordable so what's the point in selling him.
  8. My memory is not so good now but I remember Leeds thrashing us by 8 goals in the Channon days and god they ran rings round us. Watford gave us a big thumping once but can't remember when that was.
  9. Glad I didn't tune into that debacle. I'm amazed how many embarrassing big score drubbings we have received under Ralph's management but somehow he survives in his job.
  10. It's amazing how many people use social media to try and prove how clever and correct they are.
  11. Good point, shame Broja has been affected by all the attention. Strange S Armstrong not starting. Walker-Peters best man on the park. JWP has to start for England for the free kicks alone.
  12. As expected really.
  13. I feel for him too but he shouldn't be on the pitch.
  14. Someone needs to calibrate AA's sights.
  15. Just an hour for the team news. Please Ralph, take this game seriously.
  16. Agree with that, I'm trying but I am just not getting motivated for this game. Perhaps it's the current state of the world we live in at the moment that is pushing this game into irrelevance or it may be that I fear Ralph may cock this up by not putting out his best side.
  17. Head of european scouting for pompey 😂
  18. Now the new owners can truly see what they have purchased as this has quickly reverted back to our true form.
  19. It's a long way to fall from that high horse of yours.
  20. When saints have a slump they don't do it by halves.
  21. Any of the top 6 basically. Money has purchased their position.
  22. I was actually being upbeat. We were due to have a loss at some point and it happened. As long as it doesn't continue into a long line of poor form I'm ok with that. Off late we have been playing superb football but it's too much to ask our squad to be a team of invisibles.
  23. Unfortunately for a club our size with limited squad depth it would always be difficult to maintain the run we were on. All it needed was a couple of key players to get injured to make a difference. Yes we managed to get past WHU in the FA Cup, but we have become a lot stronger at home. But there were signs in that game that we were missing Salisu etc, but Valerie stepped up and did a good job but didn't start against Villa for some reason. So, the defeat had to come at some point but a shame it was so heavy and could of been a lot worse. Let's just hope we put that behind us and get back quickly to our previous form.
