Good point, shame Broja has been affected by all the attention. Strange S Armstrong not starting. Walker-Peters best man on the park. JWP has to start for England for the free kicks alone.
-
As expected really.
-
I feel for him too but he shouldn't be on the pitch.

Someone needs to calibrate AA's sights.

Just an hour for the team news. Please Ralph, take this game seriously.
-
Agree with that, I'm trying but I am just not getting motivated for this game. Perhaps it's the current state of the world we live in at the moment that is pushing this game into irrelevance or it may be that I fear Ralph may cock this up by not putting out his best side.

Head of european scouting for pompey 😂

Now the new owners can truly see what they have purchased as this has quickly reverted back to our true form.

It's a long way to fall from that high horse of yours.

When saints have a slump they don't do it by halves.

Any of the top 6 basically. Money has purchased their position.

Oops.

I was actually being upbeat. We were due to have a loss at some point and it happened. As long as it doesn't continue into a long line of poor form I'm ok with that. Off late we have been playing superb football but it's too much to ask our squad to be a team of invisibles.

Unfortunately for a club our size with limited squad depth it would always be difficult to maintain the run we were on. All it needed was a couple of key players to get injured to make a difference. Yes we managed to get past WHU in the FA Cup, but we have become a lot stronger at home. But there were signs in that game that we were missing Salisu etc, but Valerie stepped up and did a good job but didn't start against Villa for some reason. So, the defeat had to come at some point but a shame it was so heavy and could of been a lot worse. Let's just hope we put that behind us and get back quickly to our previous form.

How's the ego?

And no Long to save the day.

A bit up and down.

Good result. Team selection was risky but Ralph took the gamble and it paid off. I wouldn't of rotated but hey, who's complaining.
-
Jesus H, was is the logic for that lineup, effing unbelievable.
-
Put our strongest team out, why rotate?.

The Minsk Memorial Thread (and continuation of his work)
Saint Billy replied to Minsk's topic in The Saints
Very sad news, thanks to Minsk's daughter for letting us know. Rest in peace, at least you will be able to watch all the games now. -
For early parts of the game I was thinking that this game wasn't going to go our way, every loose ball seemed to fall at the feet of a United player. We also seemed slightly knackered from the spurs game, but Ralph has somehow introduced some grit and determination along with a good dose of belief. Another great result, well done all involved.

Absolutely fekin brilliant

I dont have a problem with Ralph leaving in a couple of years or so, but announcing it is not helpful.

We were lucky but, We've scored some outrageous and stunning goals this season😳
