Ok result. Played reasonably well without really clicking. Loved Bertrands response to the foul throw, very funny.

Initially voted for him to go, I am still not thoroughly convinced even though the last couple of games were much much better, perhaps he should have a bit longer on reflection and see what the transfer window brings. Bournemouth game will have a good bearing on the direction we are going.

Relatively easy group for England, poor enough for us to feck it up again.

Humble pie for me, I thought Pelligrino got the team selection wrong before the match, as it happens he got it totally right and was only let down by a big chunk of bad luck. Well played Saints and Pelligrino., keep it going lads.

Hysterical tart here, two of our most unproductive out of form players on the pitch in Long and Redmond. I understand the backs to the wall approach but for fecks sake lets have a bit of theat up front

I just dont get playing Long instead of Austin against City. Unless we can hold City to 0-0, which I seriously doubt, we need goals, so why put a player like Long up front who cannot score in a brothel. It has to be Austin the inform striker. Long has to be kept out of the squad completely and moved on in January as whatever he had has deserted him.

Well that performance probably saved Pelligrino his job. Much much better all round, pretty much everyone had a better game. For me Boufall was motm.

Credit to Pelligrino for playing Charlie from the off, he will always get goals given the service.

How monumentally annoying is Jim White, apart from the adverts he is the biggest turn off on Talksh!te. His continual reminders that he is mates with Moshiri makes me blow chunks along with his treatment of callers who disagree with him, oh oh oh and the "What a reaction we are getting tbis morning, the phone lines are red hot". Disabled people need special facilties ie wheelchair access, sanitary disposal etc. Gender neutral people are perfectly able to use the standard facilities of their choice. This is just once again PC going to far.

Not being funny but what does Gao know about football apart from the prospect of making more dosh, he's a business man and little else. Yes Long and possibly Austin need to move on but the problem eminates from the midfield with Tadic and Redmond being complete failures in their positions. And then of course we have our incompetent manager continuing to play them.
