  1. Nowhere near as good so he won't be able to.
  2. A few backhanders must have been gifted to secure a deal as ridiculous as this
  3. And succeeded straight away I might add, not after 2-3 seasons
  4. The only players who were ready for the step up were Morgan, Clyne and Lallana. All in mid 20s, Lovren was always erratic and just had a superb season for us, hopefully he's as bad as last year this season. Shaw + Chambers really should of stayed for the sake of their football development. 1 or 2 seasons as a defender and still a teenager, are there any examples of defenders that have made the step up to an elite club at such an age?
  5. Les Reed was bigging him up pre season saying 'this is the first proper pre season Gaston is going to have with us due to not flying to South America for Tournaments for his national team" etc. Then he swiftly picked up an injury
  6. About the same....
  7. I would like both Ramirez and Tadic in the squad if we get into the Europa group stage, Ramirez is certainly an enigma but he's not a Balotelli or Osvaldo enigma.
  8. Ramirez probably started less games than Tadic as well.
  9. If he has more than two braincells he'll see what happened to Morgan, realise he deserves and should strive to get a better club than Spurs, by performing well for us this season. In fact I think he does and this is all media bull****. After tasting it with Celtic he will want Champions League football, do you think he realises Spurs have only got there once since it began? He should.
  10. Yeah lets just spend big on a player like Andy Carroll or Osvaldo! That'll please the fans and Big Sam.
  11. Bertrand was a loan and Clasie cost more than Lovren.
  12. Villa away 2014?
  13. Guan 2.0. The voice of reason.
  14. Sign him up! Although he looks like he could possibly be 29 not 19
  15. With a legend of the game and gentlemen Ronald Koeman as a manager. I think I'll believe his judgement of the ambition of the club over your absolute crap!
  16. How can you guarantee that? They stuck with team 3-0 down after 22 mins, we were 0-0 after that time. They maybe saying it to one another but they wouldn't be shouting abuse at their own players.
  17. I wish our fans were more like Dortmunds, they went 3-0 down after 20 mins away to Molde. Fans stuck with the team and sung them on to a 4-3 victory. That's what all fans at the stadium should be like (we're called supporters for a reason), leave the moaning and complaining for the pub and the forums but sing and support your team no matter what at the stadium. A lot of fans round me last night seemed intent on moaning and shouting 'get on with it' or 'your ****' (to Targett mainly) it's just sad that's the way it is around most of the stadium.
  18. Ah that's it sell him to Villa! Might as well, he's **** now
  19. Cork is a bloody good player but not as good as Morgan or as valuable as Toby and Clyne. We'll miss them 3 in our first 11 far more than him this season
  20. We had loads of chances missed the target or did a weak shot close to or at the GK for all of them made 2 or 3 defensive errors and 1 cost us. Simples Finishing was so poor tonight.
  21. They are. Perhaps Suarez never really had one he just thought he did. They aren't in every players contracts like spain but Trippier had one for if Burnley went down. Fellaini had one and United missed its deadline. They are in some players contracts but not many.
  22. Yes he is...https://twitter.com/SouthamptonFC/status/634403977271078912
  23. Agreed, mainly why I think we'll keep him for this window at least
