Fixtures out tomorrow - who will we get first game?
Coldridge replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
Sunderland away. A 0-0 against the side rejuvenated by Advocaat. -
Lambert wasn't really bought as a player. It seemed to be a combination of Liverpool wanting to be seen as the culmination of his fairytale career, and him being handy leverage in drawing the other two L's away.

Osvaldo in the news for all the wrong reasons... again

The prodigal son will return and fire us to a Europa League victory. You read it here first. -

I saw Dani in Waitrose on Portswood road in December of 2013. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person and congratulated him on his stunner against Man City, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw Dani trying to walk out the doors with like 9 Lion bars in his hands without paying. The girl at the till was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the till. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly. -
Agree with you partly. Never seen him post intellectual analysis of a niche computer OS though...

I wouldn't say that black players are in a minority in the BPL. For instance, we fielded 5 (Bertrand, Clyne, Wanyama, Mane, Elia) vs Villa and they fielded 7 (Benteke, N'Zogbia, Delph, Bacuna, Okore, Agbonlahor, Sinclair).

Doubt this is true, but would be pretty effing unbelievable if it was. Actually, it would be believable knowing what a hack Brendan Rodgers is. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/jose-fonte-interesting-liverpool-southampton-5692672?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=Sendible&utm_campaign=RSS

This article is claiming that Southampton will be playing Groningen on July 18th. The brothers Koeman, particularly Erwin who was there for their KNVB cup victory a couple of weeks ago, have got strong historical links with the club. http://www.nu.nl/groningen/4049713/fc-groningen-oefent-ploeg-van-ronald-koeman.html

I'd say it's a good thing considering past experience with high media praise of Saints players.

THANK YOU Goatboy. It's quite clear we're the only people who have actually come face to face, mano a mano, with RB21. The others wouldn't be quite so skeptical had they done the same.

I saw Ryan in a Waitrose on Portswood road yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person and congratulated him on his PFA team of the year place, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw Ryan trying to walk out the doors with like 12 Snickers in his hands without paying. The girl at the till was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the till. When she took one of the Snickers and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Agreed. He was receiving praise months before he made his move permanent. Not comparable to the others who were already Saints players when the praise started growing.

Saints agree personal terms with Tonny Vilhena - Unofficial

Lallana has 70 assists this season? -
He is a very lean ectomorph and is conditioned for endurance speed and agility. 80kg BP is not much for a weightlifting enthusiast no, but this is a professional footballer.
-
No full stop at the end there. Suspect he pressed send forgetting to put 'my coccyx.' at the end.

I was under the impression Mane hardly spoke a word of English, given Schneiderlin translating his first interview and the lack of appearances talking thereafter. Fast learner maybe?

I've been using http://www.vipbox.sx/soccer since wiziwig went down. Always a choice of at least 3 streams for any broadcasted Saints games.

He did, but there were several first-team absentees away on WC duty.

I saw a couple trying to bring in a glass jar of pickled fish or something such among other weird picnic items. Needless to say, you are not allowed to bring pickled fish into the stadium. Actually, that might just be glass jars.

When I was playing career mode on FIFA 13, Jack Cork was bought by Swansea. It stuck in my head for some reason. Maybe this is why?

http://ameblo.jp/mayayoshida Using google translate on Japanese can be a bit of a nightmare, but hopefully what came out as "You have joined the practice of Southampton from yesterday" means that he's back.
