  1. for anyone that doesn't have the club on Snapchat; Dusan and Morgan both on the video walking into Villa Park in full tracksuits and carrying wash bags so imagine they'll be featuring.
  2. shows how high the standard is that I forgot that one!
  3. We'd already have a pretty good goal of the season competition! Clyne vs. Liverpool & Arsenal, Pelle vs. QPR & Stoke, Wanyama vs. Hull. Some other great but not so spectacular finishes in there as well.

    Ched Evans

I have my own views on the case in discussion but they are not important. What is really important is that Luke McCormick and Lee Hughes have both been allowed to play professional football despite having killed people through driving whilst drunk, and Marlon King (ironically last attached to Sheffield United) despite serving multiple prison sentences for various offences (sexual assault included). Football set a precedent with these 3 cases before Ched Evans. Regardless of your opinion on this one I don't see how anyone could justify Ched Evans being refused the chance to resume his career, when there are convicted killer's playing.
  5. MK Dons stole a club, so I guess they couldn't really complain haha
  6. Perhaps it's not wanting to live in Liverpool that does it. Or perhaps, it's just that they want to play for manager's with some sort of pedigree (Mourinho, Wenger, Van Gaal, Pellegrini) who have actually achieved something other, rather than a fraud like Brendan. Seem to recall reading Sanchez was desperate to play for Wenger, can't ever imagine anyone saying "i'm desperate to play for Brendan Rodgers".
  7. 5-0 Saints. Pelle hat-trick, Tadic and Schneiderlin. Live on TV, chance to show the world what we're about over 90 minutes and not just what they see on MOTD. These 1-0 and 2-0's aren't doing us justice, we are fantastic to watch, and thats exactly what everyone will be saying after this game.

    JayRod

Can't help but think what a great time for Jay to return from such a serious injury. We're not relying on him to come straight in and start, or relieve us from a desperate fight against relegation or goal drought. He can ease his way back in and not be rushed, knowing the pressure is off which hopefully will prevent any potential recurrence's. Would love to see him come off the bench in one of our so called 'big games' in the next couple of months and win it though.
  9. has to be this surely! short and sweet, funny, and to an already easily singable song
  10. How many Liverpool fans does it take to change a lightbulb? They don't, they just sit around talking about how good the old one was.
  11. Despite not been keen on Long whenever I'd seen him on opposing teams, and being disappointed by what we paid for him, I actually found myself thinking "we could do with bringing Long on to make Stoke have something to think about" as the game bece a little more based in our half. I would never have thought I'd be saying that back in August, so all in all he's completely changed my opinion! Well done to him, not going to be a prolific goal scorer but I can definitely see his worth to the team.
  12. I'd sacrifice the £16mil we got for Chambers to have him back. But i'm happy with Tadic+£10mil over Lallana, and Toby(if he signs) & Gardos+£6mil over Lovren, and Bertrand(if he signs)+£20mil over Shaw. In dreamworld i'd love the Ox back, think once he rids himself of some injury problems and gets a good run of games he will be a star. Bale and Theo don't count as they were pre Liebherr, but if only aye.
  13. Always maintained that we don't 'need' a £30million left back. Bertrand is doing a great job and for (potentially) a third of the price. Would rather have Bertrand for 10, than Shaw for 30. I'm obviously well aware Shaw is a far superior player though.
  14. haha not a very good one, I had to google a picture just to double check it was him!
  15. Saw him in West Quay about an hour ago, not that it's relevant or that anyone probably cares! But he doesn't get spoken about much so thought i'd take the opportunity.
  16. The standing ovation he got when he left the field on Saturday was one of the best I can remember, it was goosebump worthy. Similarly when he scored his goal, just seemed like everyone in the stadium genuinely really loves Jack and was delighted for him. I will be gutted if he leaves our club, true unsung hero and a great footballer.
  17. Got it in the hotel bar! commentary as well, thanks anyway guys!
  18. Hi everyone, currently on holiday in the USA, moving around a few places. In Boston tonight but due to leave for Montreal tomorrow morning, unless I can find it on in Boston somewhere, in which case I'll delay the trip until after the game. Anyone know of anywhere? Would be much appreciated!
  19. That stint caused me to buy the entire new away kit with his name on the back for around £70, only for him to leave a week later. Ah, football.
  20. Always found Shane Long to be one of those players I really didn't like watching, found him a bit of a diver and a bit of a pr*ck generally. But hey, he's our pr*ck now and maybe he's one of those 'hate him against you, love him for you' types. Welcome Shane, good luck to you and hopefully you can get everyone on side very quickly!
  21. I could not have summarised it better myself, my exact thoughts on the stereotypical young English footballer. We've had our season of indulgence with young English players, they betrayed us just as easily as the foreign ones do. The novelty of being applauded for having Englishman has worn off for me, give me a foreigner with twice the capability for half the price.
  22. Ability wise Kagawa p*sses all over Nani and Hernandez, wasted by United's insistence on deploying Rooney wherever he fancies that day and refusing to cater for the more creative players in their actual role. However I'd imagine you're focussing on the fact we already have plenty of midfielders, and we need a Nani or Hernandez type more, which would be a fair point. From what I gather Dortmund would take Kagawa back in a heartbeat so wouldn't be surprised to see him back there eventually, shame.
  23. I absolutely despise Liverpool, but I really want Rickie to do well. As long as he doesn't let them down with a Gerrard style mistake then I think if he just scores once in front of the Kop then Rickie will be more than satisfied. I imagine he doesn't expect to go there and be the star of the show, but for him this isn't just another club, this is his club and I think just being on the bench there will be a dream for him.
  24. Slightly underwhelmed but I think I just have that feeling with English players nowadays probably because of their overpricing and the national team's constant disappointment. Being on loan makes it less disappointing from the perspective of we won't be paying anything for him, but at the same time I WANT us to spend something! So it's a tough one. I wish him luck, difficult situation to come into but he's shown promise before. I know it's only a loan but is this proof that deals can still go under the radar? I don't recall anything being touted about this one? That could be encouraging that perhaps we could be close to other deals that we just don't know about. Hopefully, anyway.
  25. Well whichever one started it clearly wasn't 'all in it together'. Being all in it together to me would've meant they all stay, not that they all go their separate ways.
