how ironic that JWP leaves us to avoid playing in the Championship, to spend 3 miserable years in the PL, just to find himself back playing in the Championship.

if i recall there was a match in the middle of last season where he put in a truly awful performance and was off at halftime. Cant remember who it was against. He seemed to recover from that one nicely.

i second this. it was a godsend last season.

well the win was the most important thing. Tonda probably learned what worked and didnt work after that first half. but again.. the win. It needs to be a habit going into League play, we need to climb out of the point hole relatively quickly or i feel like discouragement will set in early.

i think the longer this goes on the less we are screwed, as least as it pertains to us playing the final Saturday. Every day that passes makes it harder to imagine how they could postpone it and/or insert Middlesborough. re: postponement : You cant just say to Wembley - hey how about we play it next Saturday instead. Plus, due to the World Cup, teams must release players by May 30th. re: inserting Middlesbrough : that would seriously penalize Hull, swapping out the opponent you have been preparing for 3 days before the match.

blimey, how bad was Norwich earlier this season to only finish 9th with that form? just checked.. they spent October, November and December in the bottom 3.
