want to give some love to TBH. He is having a fantastic season. 7 goals, his through ball passing has been top notch, and all around play has really improved. past seasons we would really really have sweated out those last 20 minutes. i dont remember being worried once that Derby was going to level it up.

His durability and work rate were unmatched to the very end with Saints, which make it all the more "tragic" that it all fell off the cliff once he left Saints. or should i say, he maintained that work rate for the 23/24 season with West Ham, but 24/25 and 25/26 have been a professional disaster for JWP (falling out of favor with managers, not in the starting XI, loaned out each of the past 2 seasons).

so umm. yeah... reading this thread, if by some miracle we got promoted this season, it would be one year in the top flight and right back down again. i dont thinks SR has the acumen or resources to refresh the squad with players and a manager in such a short time that could keep us up. Was it Brentford that did something similar a few years back? Basically cut loose the entire promoted squad during the summer and bought all new players? Surprised that worked, odds seemed against it.
