  1. Because it is really funny being singled out as an asylum seeker and being targeted for abuse isn't it?
  2. Just for you mate:- "A company providing meals for asylum seekers in Cardiff has said it will drop demands they wear wristbands as a condition for receiving food according to local MP Jo Stevens. The brightly coloured bands had been given to asylum seekers staying at Lynx House so they could claim meals. But some called it dehumanising and they said they had become targets for abuse. Former Lynx house resident, Eric Ngalle, told BBC Wales the wristbands had been "mental torture" for some." So then, it doesn't seem that it "worked fine" at all does it? Quote taken from the BBC news website.
  3. Is that is why they dropped it then and why some people complained? You didn't read my subsequent post then? And I didn't suggest that what happened in Cologne was like a Saturday night in Maidstone, but don't let that stop you.
  4. dump
  5. Alan Shearer? (sorry, just seen someone else has posted this)
  6. Does it need to be something that identifies someone as a migrant? There are other ways of going it that are not so obvious.
  7. No one said it was a massive blunder. Just a blunder.
  8. Have you been beaten up or told to eff off back to your country while wearing them though?
  9. Other than someone actually thought that this was a good idea initially.
  10. Do players sign for clubs or for managers? Given the frequency that managers leave clubs there is a good chance that your contract will run longer than the manager will be at the club.
  11. Jack was clearly not a migrant then otherwise he would have grabbed them regardless.
  12. I bet the plastics cant wait! Attacking football at last....oh wait.
  13. http://www.foxnews.com/world/2016/01/25/uk-company-criticized-for-asking-migrants-to-wear-wristbands.html
  14. Players like Martin Peters and John Walk used to score lots of goals by arriving late from midfield into the area onto balls pulled back to them.
  15. Nail on head. When the ball is lofted forward it is easier for the defenders to attack the ball. When the ball is pulled back it is easier for players (attackers) to run on to and is harder for the defenders as they have to turn. I played at CH for a number of years and used to love the ball being launched at me from the front as it was so easy to defend against.
  16. Which is exactly why more people need to post more often!
  17. Everton must be cacking themselves now that they are in the relegation dogfight.
  18. I hope he goes sooner rather than later and that "one of their own" Giggs takes over and just does just as poorly.
  19. Oh the ignamy of losing to Koeman who many here wanted out a couple of weeks ago! Seriously though it isn't losing at home to Southampton that upsets them. It is losing full stop. Maybe they could just about bear losing at home to a "top four" club but certainly not to any team below them.
  20. Nuthouse
  21. We won at Old Trafford so I am not sure what the problem is. Is it better to play well and lose?
  22. Just another day on an Internet football forum.
  23. Lineker is always has a good word to say about us and Shearer is always positive.
  24. Seems that the unimprovable JWP is improving!
  25. The biggest thing for me is that Virgil wants to be here.
