It's always pays to read more than the headline , the following article usually dosen't fully support the headline ! Yes WMD and war on terrorism came back to haunt the west , all dodgy regimes have since branded any opposition as terrorists and Russia etc use the WMD excuse as well .

I thought the story was Putin saying there were labs in Ukraine backed by USA , suggesting a source of any chemical weapons would be the Ukranians , Biden called them out as laying the groundwork for Russia to use chemical weapons and blame Ukraine/USA as per dead civilians found left in the road / mass graves when Russian troops retreated. Likewise mentioning weaponry from China was also meant to make China think twice if they were thinking of it !!!!

In context this is Putin's Russia , who took Russia into Syria using the same battlefield tactics he is now using in Ukraine , poisioned anyone in Russia who tried to put themselves up as opposing candidates in the election , who poisoned Russians and English people in Sailsbury , who has poisoned various other people who opposed him in Europe . His regime imprisons anyone who protests or critisises him in Russia on trumped up charges He uses black propagander to justify his actions which are so absurd they would be laughable if it wasn't so serious . Plenty of examples where the west has used similar propaganda , although not so rediculous , but still wrong . WMD a classic and Powell's UN performance supporting Gulf war 2 and to his eternal shame Blair 's support for WMD. You can see the same behavior in our present Govt , copied from Trump . They are constantly attacking the BBC and now CH4 for nor promoting the Johnson agenda . Covid is now at record levels as people trying to go abroad this week have found because so many staff are off sick . I saw MLT a few years ago at an "evening with MLT" event , he came across well and seemed a balanced individual , his worse comment was calling Hoddle a pratt !!

A couple of seasons ago Palace rearranged the seating which moved their organised vocal fans from their traditional spot behind and at one side of the goal .This led to big outcry by the fans so I assume their current position is the outcome of that bust up.

Salisu made a couple of good tackles but at the end the Philips one was nearly a penalty . On slow mo he seemed to catch Philips's foot before getting the ball but unusually VAR gave Saints benefit of the doubt !!

I remember JWP before he perfected his free kicks , when there was not much expectation of a goal ! He has certainly improved massively since those days .

Like all big money sports tournaments the draw is rigged by seeding players/teams to make sure the big teams/players get an easier ride to the final. F1 showed how bias can work last race of last season . Remember when Ferrari got all the decisions in their favour ?

Why do they stop a match to make a sub ? Well wait for a break , if the sub has been checked by the 4th official as soon as the player being subbed comes off the pitch the sub can come on while the game is in progress . VAR can check if only 11 players at any one time .

Obviously rugby and football should be at the front of the campaign as aspects of their sport are know to cause brain diseases . The removal of names is to highlight the memory problems of this type of illness .

As I said Shearer is one of the best ever despite his Achilles rupture that slowed him down towards the end .

Well you know how important it is that everybody is aware of this disease and how it should be avoided in sport . There is the hereditary factor as well but even the NFL has tried to reduce head injuries so football and rugby should be at the front of the campaign to reduce the chances of Alzheimers disease .

It was part of fundraising for this match , the link is to the players that have been damaged by constant heading of the ball over the years which caused this condition . The PFA have failed to support these players and haven’t done much to highlight their problem. The FA as well have failed these players , some action has been taken for youngsters but not enough yet. It is an even worse problem in Rugby where much younger players have shown to have major damage from concussion . Their inaction was highlighted in the 6 nations tournament where a Welsh player passed the rudimentary concussion test by their “medical team” and returned to the pitch staggering ! Concussion can take some time to show symptoms so any player suspected of concussion should be stopped from taking further part in the match and for weeks after . There was another incident where the player lost consciousness briefly but it was ignored . To sum up it is not nonsense it is a real , and from my own experience of people with this condition , a terrible disease that should be avoided at all costs.

Shearer has to be up there , he is still top on scorers charts as we are shown on motd ! I liked him at Saints , able , like MLT to score from anywhere .

Well No he isn't but can you compare across the decades ? Modern players are under more pressure these days plus the fitness requirements , no pre match 3 pints and catch a bus to the ground. Over training is now a feature of all sports , even golf after Tiger shook the tour up. Barty has shown the way to go to avoid the treadmill of ever increasing matches , just look at the old crocks Federer , Nadal , Murray , multi millionaires still trying to carry on .
