Okay my last message was an attempt on humour, what I dont understand is this. Why would Saints tell anyone else what we are bidding etc? It's never been our style so why now? The Hooper thing comes across as attempt to get him a better contract at Celtic as it looks like his agent is spreading gossip about a bid from us. I personally think we will bring in someone else not mentioned anywhere.

The more I think about it the more I believe it will be Clyne from Palace. He never played yesterday which according to the Palace forum was a mystery. They signed a player called Mcshane last week for a months loan and he can play in the cup as stated on their official website. Mcshane came on as sub and played okay, he's a Irish international right back. We was looking for a right back recently as he does not fancy Burtterfield anymore, IMHO Richardson has a great cross but does not do 'skinning the left back' very well while Clyne does it all. Reckon a 2m deal could of been agreed and the guy is coming to us.

Of course he won't but he will more than certain score goals for them like Lambert has done for us this season, Infact some will say Lambert has found it easier this season which does suggests Rhodes could.

And if he continues to score the goals that he has this season then they will gain 90m next season. Bad gamble, not!

Just a thought, you are a 17 year old kid earning something like £200 a week and a team offers you a signing on fee of £250,000 plus a wage of 5k a week. Okay so you won't play in the first team for about 3 years but they will develop you to become a good player still. I think the decision would be far too easy for most of us on this one and I don't blame the lad if he leaves.

How is it so easy to buy players like that? Almost every club is holding on to the star players in the hope they get better offers as clubs become more desperate. We are playing the same game with Puncheon. IMHO Saints have put in bids for some good players but are just waiting for them to get replacements or the other club gives in to us in the end.

It makes me laugh how you think he does not want to move away from Yorkshire, haha you are so many miles away from the truth. His first choice is to join us if we agree his 20k a week demands which the club are refusing to pay. They had talks a week before Xmas. Don't doubt how I know as I work with the guy that was at a party with him just before Xmas. Sharp is still hopeful of joining us even now as we speak.
