The Sunday Times - Southampton put up for sale at £250m
Pilchards replied to The Odd Guy's topic in The Saints
With many companies going bust and the current Coronavirus outbreak I don’t have much hope. -
Believe it or not Claridge says good things about us.
-
A couple of things will happen here. If Villa have a striker who’s not scored in a decade then his luck is in on Saturday. We will huff and puff and look decent but a lapse at the back means Villa will score at least one. It will not end in a draw. Ings will be the only player who will score for us. Ralph will put on three strikers in Obefemi, Djenapo and Adams who between them will score or create nothing. The fans will do the usual until things don’t go right. That Heisenberg guy will tell us about how he won more money on betting against Saints. PS does he celebrate when we lose?
-
How was that not a penalty you ****s. The reaction of the Liverpool player says it all really.

Jacob Maddox on loan with view to permanent signing in summer
Pilchards replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
Just the kind of backing RH needs. If he never had us playing so well since the start of December we would be truly ****ing ****e. -
Not really. It will be Liverpool never played well blah blah.
-
Totally agree and I expect Ralph never trusted the board to get a replacement in time.
-
Going for 5 straight away wins and to be honest with you we shouldn’t have any problems. Liverpool are not too good at home and they are certainly there for the taking. Usual 1-3 with Ings getting a couple.
-
Why can’t we get this done now rather than putting in extension in the final hour of deadline day?
-
If coached properly then he would be a great prospect. Would love it if he played in the replayed and scored the winner!
-
This forum even made the national newspaper after setting up a big brother.
-
I remembered the Saints ran a caption with the Arsenal shirt sponsors JVC - Jaws Viciously Cracked.

Palace 0-2 Saints. Wild celebration reaction thread.

Palace have scored and conceded a total of 46 goals, and only last night did they have one/two from outside the area. Did we shoot onsite to settle this stat -
Love the personal battle between Zaha and JWP and it’s obvious James winds him up. Any others in the past or present that you know it’s going to kick off? I do remember Keane and Veira hated each other.
-
We couldn’t sack him because we could not afford too. A new manager may also want to bring in his own staff so it could of meant the likes of Watson and Davis would need paying off too.
-
Think it’s simple really. Someone gives us a good price for any of our loanees or current squad players like Vestergaard, Boufal etc and then we will look at getting in a replacement. Basically need to raise the cash first as we are skint.
-
We are good away from home as our attacking football is great for countering. Going for the 3-1’s again like the good old days.
-
Couldn’t break them down. We are a much more exciting and attacking team away from home. Its RH job to work it out!
-
If we get in a quality fast striker then it makes lots of sense. Must admit Adams is starting to look good now.
-
It was ruled out by VAR.
-
Would you sack Howe as it looks like they’ve lost their way?
-
No Bertrand has not been wanting to leave for a couple of years. Total bull**** on that one. Would we sell Targett if he wanted out?
-
Of course I wanted Ralph to be sacked as losing to City 9-0, losing at home to West Ham and Everton was very poor. The football was bad and the players looked clueless. If you asked Ralph himself at the time if he deserved to be sacked he probably would of said yes too. Glad he’s turned it around as he knew he had too. BTW I always said the players were good enough but were not being managed properly.
-
And Ings has scored the most goals against top 6 clubs. As a matter of fact 80% of his goals have been scored against them I’ve read.
