Beginning to think a good manager could get this team going again. I honestly believe we have the players to do it but they lack confidence. I would drop Redmond and Cedric for starters and try to find a way of getting Boufal to become part of the team.

Well said and totally spot on. Two important things in this game, We are one day fresher than them plus Andy Carroll is important for them.

With so many teams starting to sack managers IMHO if we lost on Saturday I still feel we would not take that route for now.

I agree with many that Boufal is a good impact sub. Maybe start him and let Redmond become that impact sub instead because IMHO since he’s signed that extended contract he’s never been the same.

Everton had the worse away record before they met us and they beat us 2-1. Watford are the worse now and if we can't beat them then we are doomed I tell you.

Not sure why we have been so poor at home since Koeman left? Something is not right as Everton are shocking and yet they beat us last week. What makes us think we will beat Watford?

The players need to train at St Mary’s all week plus they need to rip out the home dressing room and redesign it as it’s an unhappy place for the players at the moment.

I was working during the game and I managed to avoid any scores until I got home to watch it on record. Blimey that was painful! The problem? Its become rotten at the top and it’s making its way to the playing staff. The fix? Time to play a steady formation were the players don’t dive in and try to contain the opposition player.

He’s like many of the keepers that come to the club. Start off well and then they get worse. Thats got to be the coaching surely?

Suicidal pressing! Ralph’s setting the players up to make sure you win the ball before the opposition get it. Check out the 3rd goal and that’s your problem. 6 players try to win it and then it played into space for Chelsea to counter and finish us off. Okay let’s supposing we did win the pressing, we only win it back and play sideways football which gives the opposition time to regroup. Why not let Chelsea have the ball but make sure defenders go with the runners while the nearest Saints player tries to win it back? iMHO I’m beginning to think that Ralph’s asst that left at the start of the season was the brains behind the team.

Won’t get a better manager in than Ralph so stick with him. Need to change the philosophy a bit as our suicidal pressing is exposing those behind them.

I wouldn’t want to get relegated but we need to either rebuild again by putting in some promising young players to gel the team or have a system that suits the current players.
