We were lucky not to concede in the last 5 minutes thanks to Soares and Stephens. As for our attacking play, Carillo is utter garbage but we have no other option until Ausrin gets back. I beg the club to sack Pellegrino and give us a chance to survive. We cant buy a win right now so let’s at least have a go with another manager. Fulham boss anyone?

Embaressing and I feel for the players knowing they have a tub of lard to aim for.

Fratton Park when we missed the first 20 minutes because of the Pompey fans. A mixture of hailstones, me dressed as Westwood and a brick almost hitting my inflatable fish that was on my hat.

Heard it’s on Tuesday now, actually it might be Wednesday but I’m not sure.

This thread is bad taste.

Ouch That’s going to hurt!

Can’t you change the James Beattie words to Pompey?

Thought he died then.

TalkSPORT have two tickets to win for this weekends clash between Saints and Stoke. Question: Saints used to play at Roker Park or The Dell? So far nobody has got it right as everyone keeps saying roker park. ha ha

Very interesting listening to TalkSPORT this morning where they discussed Chris Brunt questioning the managers tactics and getting the players on his side to change things. Mickey Gray said it’s happening all over the country which got me thinking. Has it happened at anytime that you can recall while watching a Saints game? I remember during the Branfoot days that players used to ignore him and actually passed the ball about while he would be waving his arms about to pump it long. Shocking football and if it was not for Le Tiss we would of been relegated every season with Branfoot in charge.

Remember Pellegrino thinks a point is as good as a win these days.

Yes it was shocking back in ‘76 My mate was in the queue getting a burger when a UTD fan pushed in the line. Also I had my pen stolen after lending it to a fan for autographs.

Season tickets are going to fly off the shelves.

Prolific in scoring fu ck all for us. Pellegrino’s judgement in wanting him is the same as his management skills on the pitch. B o l l o x s

We are all crying out for the same line up but it’s a real shame it won’t happen.

I can predict this one. Saints - pass, pass, pass, pass, over crosses and Zzz football. Stoke - Hoof, hoof, hoof, couple of headed chances and some half interesting football. Full whistle 0-0

Some of our play today was Sunday league standards and it’s embarrassing how ****e we’ve become. (1) We win a throw in deep in our half and the thrower lobs it to the left back who pumps it 50 yards straight out of touch towards nobody. (2) Redmond beats three players and sends a cross 20 feet over everyone. (3) We hit them on a break and Tadic just had to lay it off left or right but it hits the back of a Burnley player. (4) Our short corner ends up back at our keeper within 3 passes. (5) Romeu keeps giving the ball away in our own half. (6) We don’t do short triangle passes like Burnley did, we just pass it side ways, side ways and boom up the front to a crap striker of ours. (7) Sims scared Burnley within minutes of coming while JWP was truly awful the whole game. (Eight) Finally our entire defence play musical statues on the Burnley goal.

A point away from home is great but you need to win your home games. Someone please remind me the last time we won at home in the league?
-
We will probably crawl to safety by playing total dull football but this clown will not take us to another level as he is ****e.

Just seen the highlights and Hesketh looks promising again. That’s what I call a proper no 10 that makes things happen without hogging the ball.
-
Could of been a boner? Got to be embarrassing in an all male changing room.
-
As I was saying no Saints player would get anywhere near the best 24 players that ever graced the game.
-
No Saints allowed? I doubt any from previous years would of made it anyway.
-
Bring back four Saints players and a manager to save our season.

Pottychino Mane Lallana Wanyama Alderwald Gone for the more recent footballers as I believe anyone playing football 15 years ago would not survive the pace of it today.
