I've read somewhere that Reed interviewed Puel three times before making his mind up. Reckon we are still 3 weeks away from appointing a new manager.

Other than this French guy saying it will be him coming to Saints I've not seen anything espiecally from Germany to suggest this will happen. IMHO Reed will pull a rabbit out of a hat just like he did with Pottychino.

The Monk rumours just won't go away and I would be disappointed with him and Beattie. They will have a nerve to tell players to train super hard when those two, Kenton and One Size were the biggest party animals at our club.

Looks like the monopoly excuse was a cover up after all. According to reports in the press today they have both split up and gone separate ways.

IMHO Virgil will put in a transfer request and will kick up a fuss until we allow him to leave for Liverpool. Once that happens we will have to sort out a price with them. Just can't see him being able to carry on with Saints after the fuss him and his agent has caused us.

The more I read about the two Germans the more I think we will avoid them. It could be either another unknown like Puel or an experienced English based one. I would like us to poach the current Bournemouth and Burnley managers for long term stability.

I'm not sure I totally agree. VVD could still stay, Bertrand so what, we are allowing him to leave because it suits the clubs progress. JWP delivers an amazing ball plus is improving each year. Davis just needs coaching on how to stay calm on a goal scoring opportunity. Long last season was on fire with a decent manager. Tadic is the icing of the team when he plays well, an assist machine. Play to his strengths like we did with Koeman. Forster ha ha nothing will help that lump so I will give you that one.

You might laugh but the fact of the matter is Saints have helped Liverpool reach the champions league because Lallana, Lovren, Clyde and Mane have contributed. What have we won? nothing. However we have produced another great player to push them forward even further in VVD. I can't wait for Jack Stephens to lift the cup up for them in 5 years time while also being the England captain. Reed's love in with Liverpool is becoming a joke despite them bankrolling us so we produce them more players for the future.

Is this a typical agent going around trying to flog his client to the highest bidder. If no deal then he gets nothing, If he can persuade VVD to leave Saints then he is quids in. I honestly believe VVD is not looking to leave us yet.

So we have VVD's agent travelling backwards and forwards trying to get his client a better deal. We have the cream of the premiership climbing over each other to buy him. If Les Reed sells him for less than 70m then he deserves to be shot.

I think the manager makes the big different here as we will never get that 2 '20 scorers with Puel because he won't play two strikers.

Almost as ridiculous as someone saying we will come 17th all the time. You will get it right one day but I'm not sure it will be in my lifetime.
