  1. Have you watched McCarthy this season? Most stuff hit straight at him or slightly to either side of him has gone in.
  2. This is where Ralph's tactical naivety really shows. With Tella out and others not match fit surely you stick Diallo in CM with JWP and Romeu then play Redmond and Ely either side of Broja?
  3. Out team is pretty average but we need to be harder to beat. You know we have two crap centre backs so why not try and protect them a bit more. Maybe try 3 in midfield? This obsession with 2 upfront and 2 in midfield in every game we play is our downfall.
  4. If the 3 strikers are out then I'd go for this.. Willy; KWP, Lyanco, Salisu, Perraud; Romeu, JWP; Djenepo, Redmond; Tella, Long. Subs: Lewis, Stephens, Bednarek, Livramento, Diallo, Smallbone, Elyounoussi, Watts, Walcott.
  5. Bednarek has really regressed over the last year or so to the point he is making basic errors in every single game. In my opinion we should give Lyanco a run of games next to Salisu now.
  6. JWP has cost us there and he's been very average this season. We definitely look better with Diallo in the middle of the park. Personally I'd make Romeu captain and sell JWP in the summer.
  7. Forster; KWP, Lyanco, Salisu, Perraud; Romeu, JWP; Redmond, Djenepo; Adams; Broja.
  8. Broja is more cut out for the Premier League IMO. Just seems to have more about him. Not sure what Armstrong offers at all.
  9. I would certainly give Tino a rest.
  10. Forster, Armstrong and Redmond should all come in for this game although he may opt for Djenepo is Stuey isn't fit.
  11. He is utter gash. That's all there is to say really.
  12. At least Forster has been solid every time he has played over the last season or so. McCarthy is the much more error prone keeper.
  13. His kicking was really really bad.
  14. Totally disagree I'm afraid
  15. Redmond has always struggled with consistency but for the first time in god knows how long I think he's put 3 good performances together in a row. Let's hope it continues.
  16. To be fair that chance along with the header are opportunities professional strikers should be getting on target at least. They were poor finishes. His movement is good though and we should afford him a bit of time just like we did Adams.
  17. Is that you, James?
  18. Forster; Tino, Lyanco, Salisu, KWP; Romeu, Diallo, JWP; Armstrong, Redmond, Broja.
  19. Great performance to be fair, pretty pleased with that despite going out. Positives - Lyanco, Forster, Diallo, KWP. Long played well when he came on. Negatives - Valery (got caught on the ball way too much), A.Armstrong, Adams & Walcott. Stuart Armstrong and Diallo are too similar to play as a two in CM. Walcott offers virtually nothing.
  20. Djenepo offers much more than Walcott both offensively and defensively. The Walcott and Long extensions are just bemusing considering the amount of wages they are using up.
  21. How many times does the guy get dribbled past? Can barely remember him getting beaten. His positional awareness is outstanding and is a massive upgrade on Vestergaard
  22. Looked that way, seemed like Salisu was gesturing towards McCarthy after Dan James put the ball wide.
  23. Djenepo is our only attacking player who has the ability to go past players with a bit of imagination. Yes his end product has been very poor but he certainly has more about him than the others.
  24. Not sure if it's been mentioned as can't be bothered to go through all the posts but how poor has JWP been this season?
  25. Broja is already our best striker, that's pretty obvious to see. He should go straight into the side next week. Pretty average display from everyone else apart from the centre backs and McCarthy who looked solid for a change.
