I'd take him over Russ. Crazy considering he's a skate as well!
-
The Ipswich points tally so far puts to bed the crap people are spouting about our squad "just not being good enough". Ipswich arguably have a weaker squad than us but have a much better manager who is trying to grind out results, the opposite of what out manager is doing.
-
He's always been the same. Scored the goals you wouldn't expect him to but misses the ones he should put away. That said I'd certainly have him over Armstrong and BBD. Archer yet to prove an upgrade either.

Not another fair weather fan...😎

Spurs looking absolutely dreadful against Rangers
-
So basically emotion took over and they fucked off the plan to dig in like they should do every week. Us going up was in spite of Martin, not because of him!
-
I genuinely preferred Nathan Jones's interviews - at least you could watch them and have a laugh. Really can't stand RM.
-
Likely Spurs will only have 1 centre back available on Sunday. Most teams would take advantage but they could have none available and it wouldn't make a blind bit of difference against us.
-
Agreed. It's probably just because it's anyone but Martin, so it's kinda understandable.
-
Well the article says we would be looking at a more "pragmatic coach" and it just puts two and two together and suggests Benitez as that sort of manager. As much as we can dream, that will never happen.

"Dragan, welcome back to the Premier League! DS: Thank you so much. It is so good. I told the guys from Championship, I really enjoyed the season. I think it's a great competition. I love the competition. I had so much fun. But obviously, I'm so happy we are back to Premier League. But I really love the Championship as well. I think it's a bunch of unbelievable clubs and it's always a great weekend." Well that explains it all, the owner loves the Championship so much he's ordered Russ to relegate us as quickly as possible!
-
Well at least the Wolves board have said something about their situation, which is still a lot better than ours. You'd think everything was going swimmingly the way SR are acting.
-
Should've had 2 penalties I think. Also West Hams second could have easily been ruled out for a foul in the build up. Then again they got the two big decisions against us so swings and roundabouts.
-
Exactly. We've all been through poor runs but this is different. The complete delusion from the management who are basically in it for themselves. Why do the players/staff regularly have two days off a week? We are at the lowest ebb and the team is unfit. They should be doing everything possible to turn it around. Lack of effort from them, no wonder the fans are so disgruntled.

I've been a season ticket holder for 20 years, go to 15+ away games most seasons. Anything but a fair weather fan pal. The club have had loads of money out of me. I've had zero interest in going this season, if the club are going to take the piss out of the fans then **** them.
-
Surprised given it's at 7pm on a Sunday. I gave up my season ticket temporarily this season as I've got a little one on the way very soon. I was planning on going to a fair few home games this side of Christmas but I haven't been to a single one - just not interested in paying to watch us play like shit when I can watch every game at home.
-
It's taken longer than it should have but I'm sure it'll be pretty toxic if we lose. Certainly if we concede an early goal.
-
That's what happens when you've been subjected to Russball for the last 16 months.
-
Read something about how he's got his team doing the basics well and hasn't tried to be too clever. They play a 4-2-3-1 and generally play a low block to be hard to beat, looking to hit teams using transitions. Sounds way too sensible for SR to consider.
-
Yep. They finished rock bottom with their previous manager, then appointed Matos upon relegation and they absolutely pissed the second division. Now he has them 4th in the Primeira Liga, recently beating Sporting. Looks like he knows how to erase scar tissue!
-
Songs of praise it is then.
-
Indeed. Just look at Pochettinos pre-season in 2013. The players absolutely hated it, but it got them incredibly fit and we could press for days. In my eyes the players have it so easy with RM, they're all his mate and there's no accountability what so ever.
-
Yep and pretty sure the poster has previous for making stuff up.
-
The process will have worked for Russ. That's great news, he's overachieving!
-
I've got no issue with going from the championship again, provided they've shown to be a decent manager. RM certainly wasn't a standout when we appointed him, his Swansea team had let in shed loads of goals which their fans warned us about.
