Plus all of his stats are from top leagues. We predominantly need players to get us out of the Championship. If they are good enough for the Prem then that's even better.

Yep. I know others might not agree but I certainly don't think picking out the best players from the Bundesliga 2 is a bad thing.

Problem is it's hard to play 2 up top without playing 3/5 at the back. 4-4-2 leaves you very exposed in the middle.

This is the thing with him though isn't it. You know if you have a man sent off under Martin you'll get absolutely battered because he can't set up a team to be hard to beat. There's just space galore.

Doesn't look as bad as some are making out. Fee is probably about £4-5m. Obviously we are looking at another winger too who I'd imagine is a bit more established.

I mean Russ brought Downes to the club because he could play his tactics. He is no longer in charge because his tactics were crap. That has nothing to do with the current manager. Shea Charles isn't having an issue.

I think the truth is Downes is a system player. He can pass the ball backwards and sideways no problem but as soon as you ask him to pass forwards he cannot do it effectively.

No excuse for passing it straight to one of their players every couple of minutes. I know they all do it but he's been particularly bad this season.
