  2. Yeah, just very unfortunate.
  3. I don't think he and Jander works. For me the partnership is either Charles or Jander and Downes or Bragg.
  4. If you're talking about either signing Larin permanently or giving Stewart a new contract, I'd be going with the former. Larin isn't injury prone and seems to affect games a lot more than Stewart does.
  5. Charles seems to be going backwards after a good start to the season. Fairly sure he's off in the summer.
  6. Peretz, Jelert, Wood, Quarshie, Welington, Bragg, Charles, Edozie, Archer, Fellows, Stewart.
  7. Team for the play offs? Peretz, Bree, THB, Stephens, Manning, Downes, Jander, Matsuki, Scienza, Azaz, Larin. That is our best 11, no question.
  8. They've been crap for weeks but decided to turn up tonight. A draw was a fair result. If we'd played a bit more like that against Bristol City we would've won comfortably which is annoying.
  9. Can't moan - players knackered because of that amazing cup run. Great game of football.
  10. I can't agree with that one
  11. I think in reality JWP is/was a lower end PL player at best. Hence why it hasn't worked out for him anywhere else and didn't work out for England. Don't get me wrong, his free kicks and set pieces in general were great and he worked his socks off. But I think he's fairly overrated because of that.

    Welington

Possibly and hopefully just a grade 1 hamstring strain which is normally only a couple of weeks out. If so he'd be back for the play offs.
  13. Top 3 1. Scienza 2. THB 3. Peretz
  14. I think we'll win both games but it won't be enough. As crap as Ipswich have been lately, I can't see how they don't beat a dreadful QPR team.
  15. Nothing to do with recency, just think he could become a better player if he continues to develop. Probably needs to be getting minutes against Premier League opposition because he certainly showed against Arsenal and Man City he's got the credentials.
  16. I think he's got a higher ceiling than JWP did. Seems a bit quicker, better defensively and actually passes the ball forwards. Just not the free kicks.
  17. Yeah, he just looks really stupid now.
  18. To be fair, Middlesborough, Millwall and Ipswich fans will say the same if they don't go up. Every team drops silly points.

    Welington

I'm surprised Welington didn't get more game time before yesterday. Coming back into such an intense game - now he could be injured again.
  20. We defended so well but if we are being honest, they (as expected) had too much for us in the end. Special shout out to Welington who has barely played for 2 months. To put in a performance like that against Cherki etc was outstanding.
  21. Agree with what you say about using the ball intelligently. Man City press like no other side in the country. It's so hard to keep the ball against them.
  22. Yep. Brilliant day out. Great support, great performance.
  23. Having watched the majority of Ipswich's last few games, I'm not worried about this game. They look very average to me.
  24. Doku changed the game for sure
  25. No way can anyone moan about that today. Lads did everyone proud. Brilliant effort.
