I always have thought that kids should not play competitive football untii they are 12 or older. They should just learn to control and pass the ball with one touch football. Alan Ball was very much of this mindset

You do watch Saints lol I nearly have a seizure when it gets passed to our keeper and then to our defenders, by the time the midfield et it and have eventually controlled the ball it is then back to our defender who passes to the keeper and again the nerves are shredded agian, when it does ever get to a forward the ball is mis controlled so a defender can sweep it up

For me I was impressed that every player was comfortable on the ball and controlled it instantly. Shame the men cant

Personally, to give a 19year old the responsibility to score enough goals to keep us in the PL is ridiculous. It seems we have all of a sudden thought that we can turn 19year olds into seasoned pros in a few months. We need a proven goalscorer, who is powerful enough to stand up to the nous of PL defenders. 19yr old footballers are decent but most are out of their depth until they are in their mid 20's and the majority fade away and never make it.

When I was on the Northam, Ricky Lambert got a bit of abuse, Lazy fat bast@@@ was one comment. Pelle got loads on here, as well as Tadic, although he got a bit less

I have no problem if we sign Winks. The problem for Winks is 2 fold, the fan base are negative before he arrives, and paramount thing is that if JWP leaves for Winks to fill the place the fans will hate him more!! Sadly my view is I dont feel there is a player in the team who I would be really sorry to see leave.
