  1. Hey Mack, at least you have the guts to turn up, all the others (not that there are many nowadays) have slipped back under their stones
  2. Lol, so his chip for the first , his sht that brought out a fantastic save, and of course his work chasing down in the 98th minute shows that he's a headless chicken lol. Look back to the results when the headless chicken was not playing just before lockdown, then perhaps you will see how poor a judge you were in making that post
  3. problem with the PL basically saying it was a dive is that JWP wont get penalties awarded inthe future on 50-50's. Point is always good at Goodison but caught by one longball and so they decided 2nd half to lump it long. We were pretty good and I was pretty relaxed watching the game. Madness with the Bednarek tackle, its either foul and red card or play on. The problem with VAR is that it is the old boys club, they dont want to show their mates up and so side with them. Perhaps the Stockley Park team should be ex professionals who have really studied the laws of the game and kept apart from the refs. Overall I thought Lee Mason was pretty fair even though hes from Pompey
  4. Surely that will be a positive for them. They wont have their wages to pay over the summer and there is going to be a big pool of free agents to choose from. I would suggest they wil come out stronger not weaker due to that
  5. Thanks, very good and raised a few smiles there.
  6. To be fair to me, I had mentioned and noticed 2 or 3 occasions where you could see his potential. The clever flick to set Nathan away from the bye line away to Chelsea or Leicester ( I cant remember what game now)and he did another again I cant recall when. He was also very unlucky early in the season where there was a brilliant reflex save that stopped him scoring. So I do believe I have been consistent in my opinion
  7. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/jul/07/adam-lallana-will-not-play-again-for-liverpool-to-protect-transfer-says-klopp So he's a legend according to Klopp and wants to sign a new contract but Klopp is not going to play him in case he gets injured and so cant have a move. Kind of says he knows he's injury prone and he cant wait to move the legend on
  8. Adams without hesitation. I have yet to see what the fuss is about Obefemi
  9. Karl got it right about Che scoring lol
  10. I cant find it, could you post a link ? I really have trouble navigating that site it is a bit of a mess, but I suppose once you get used to the way it works its ok
  11. wow , I wish the commentators had picked that up.

yep, the main difference I can see is that the Japan have a polite society that does not involve hugging kissing when they meet.
  13. Crikey, there again when did rules come into with them
  14. Was this a pub in Pompey last night
  15. I dont. Let them lose at Oxford as there is a risk they will win the final. Wycombe look safely through but that may work against them when it comes to the final
  16. The massacre was going on before the war of course, not went on to do
  17. Sadly Stalin like Chairman Mao were responsible for killing 10's of millions of their own people. Pretty hard to celebrate such people.
  18. Leeds fans in the 70's were despicable, probably the most racist with Chelsea, and being an away fan was not good
  19. It would have been nice to sing to them after they were singing to us 'When the Saints go marching down' Perhaps 'Goodbye Cherries its so good to see you go back to where you belong '
  20. I thought that our central defenders would be outmuscled and bullied like they did against WHam ,Burnley etc but they stood up and did the right things. Well done. The first 10-15 it was really frantic and scrappy but all of a sudden we started to play fluid football and then the goal came. I the 2nd half it was annoying that we were under pressure and kept launching the ball that gave them possession again. Once Armstrong came on he seemed to calm it a bit and we gained control again
  21. I dont expect him to go, I would be very disappointed if so. The way Ralph was so disappointed when his chance didnt go in showed to me that he is very much keen on him. It was also nice to see Nathan tell him to keep him chin up.
  22. Problem is that counter attacking teams require the opponents to attack. Thats why Chelsea have not been as good at home. If teams defend deep they can rely on our defence to mess up when they do come at us and then have something to defend before we mess up again. Whilst Im not 100% in favour of a big centre forward Giroud types do help. I have been keen on us getting Ivor Toney from Peterborough reminds me a bit of Cyrille Regis, strong and fairly decent in the air.
  23. It was sickening as you could sense him trying to conceal his delight that Zaha the major threat limped off 'oh what a shame for the game'
  24. The BBC news last night was a bit outrageous. Im not a fan of Trump but the way they potrayed the stadium being empty as though he hadnt drawn a crowd, but on their own website they had put up how kids on TikTok and another had ordered tickets to not go therefore to leave lots of empty seats. Whether you like him or not, that is not balanced reporting. BBC iplayer is brilliant and allows me to watch the brilliant This Country time and again
