  1. Hi Wes how can a no deal be better than a deal? Surely the chaos that a no deal will bring could in theory bring the country to its knees.Im in the luxury sector and business is dire as people are sitting on their hands. The same goes for my friends in many other businesses. The pound will drop massively (that would help me for my exports, but it wont help the general person in the street which is no good) at first exporters will gain but not when they are importing so much raw materials etc to make the products. Can you imagine the chaos at the ports as border checks come back into play, and then of course we have to try and find new markets for our stuff as quotas and tariffs kick in for exports to Europe. Im patriotic and a proud Englishman but at the end f the day , waving a flag at the white cliffs of dover really wont bring wealth to our nation
  2. so he has found his voice, he lost it for 2 years before
  3. Can Dover that is the closest large port to Europe be compared to ours? I think that is a tad harsh, I assume that doesn't include the Tunnel?
  4. If you read the Echo article he only really had full control when Koeman came, before that it was NC. So the first year he selected well in Koeman who in turn found the players, after that when Reed really put the input in did we start to falter. Move on Saints to better things
  5. I have stated in the past that I was told that Steve Bruce was firends with Reed and in turn Bruce is greta mates with MH. I heard today that they are not too sad at the club he has gone. Apparently Reed told the managers from the young teams up what formations had to be played. Hopefully there will be a breath of fresh air around the club and we can move on. Glasgows momentum curve does fall in with the leaving of Koeman and where we are now. It is since Reed had major control did the curve move down.

    Hughes OUT

that's a tad unfair. We beat Bournemouth, and went to Swansea and deservedly beat them on their own turf. We were also very unfortunate not to have won at Everton.Be unhappy but dont rewrite history
  7. so you think he should play every game? Not sure he's that good myself

did we not spank Everton at SMS that time? Josh Sims made his entrance in that game. If you took 50 goals out of any of the top teams without replacing them your team would look dour and unproductive. The fact is we played some wonderful football and a journalist on Sunday Supplement only recently said it was the best cup final he could remember for a longtime. So the tools were there but given time they would have been sharpened and improved on, but no we had to get rid.

    true
  10. Well this came from an employee when asked if he knew what was happening? the response was that the powers that be above the manager that they are too smug and feel they are doing a great job to get anything done we would like.
  11. I saw TimMartin (?) Weatherspoons leaflet that someone showed me about how food and drink will be cheaper once we leave! Well stuff that's going out of date perhaps but as the £ bombs I suspect it is nonsense.
  12. Oh dear, you must feel dirty!!

Its amazing that the team that played such sparkling and exciting football in the League cup final only 18months or so ago are still all at the club (except Tadic)
  14. I was told last season that Les is very good friends with Steve Bruce. Probably nonsense but....

I think I put on here how he doesn't ever go and watch or visit the youth team, they get sundays off (including this sunday just gone lol) and I was told at the same time leaves the coaching to others. The last bit is not unusual I would have thought as Lawrie didnt coach, Mourinho alos and many others the same
  16. Interesting how people misread posts on here, I do the same. My opening words were 'I respect his decision' and then made the observation that as he hates the British why come here and take the money. Hypocrite IMO

    Hughes OUT

we will never see eye to eye on this one, and it will always rankle with me that he wasnt given the time to develop a team. He took over from RK but in the meanwhile lost 50 goals as Pelle and Mane were sold. We still are minus the goals and the team is struggling due to that.
  18. I respect his decision not to wear a poppy, but as he dislikes the English/British so much why does he come here and take the money?
  19. Its probably my imagination but I thought Ryan played right back on occasion

Hedeserved his chance and I listened to 606 and from the neutrals view they believe he deserves longer. Listening to a couple ofour fans on there though!! Pete was one who wanted Hughes gone but couldnt say who he wanted. We get little sympathy after our treatment of Puel. 8th a cup final and we still moaned, so cry wolf toooften and others dont listen
  21. To be even handed we must congratulate Pompey for their progress. We pop at them when things arent goingwelland they disappear, we should keep to the moral high ground and mention their good results. It ruined my week end but ...
  22. that is appalling, another case of complacency.
  23. Cedric needs to be dropped as he should be a defender first, that he is not, and an attacking player 2nd. Again he is not as his final ball is rubbish. How about us trying a different right back and seeing if that works
  24. He is an employee who has ingratiated himself into a powerful position with a fantastic salary etc. I get the impression he has pushed aside anyone who remotely is a threat to his position. There is no way he will leave the job as it is prime, he is hidden and gets away sitting in the comfort of the directors box. We lost the best owner you could hope for, on par with the Leicester man, I do hope they don't have a daughter who seems from that is more concerned with protecting the inheritance rather than his legacy.
  25. lost the players lol. Well it would have been better to have sacked them. They hardly came and played for the new men
