It seems to me Eire are stuffed if there is a hard border. We will have one at Calais so it stands to reason there will be one in Ireland. We have the Eu knowing that we have to blink first re the negotiations We have JC intentionally going to vote down the deal to try and force an General Election We have Brexiteers throwing their toys out of the pram as they think we aren't going to be totally independent of Europe and expect tht it will all stay the same but without EU jurisdiction We have the Remainers wanting to safeguard all the jobs and having free movement Try and negotiate with that lot on your back. Impossible. It was evident to me that we had to accept WTO tariffs early on as the Eu will not any form let us look as we have won.

tis true, Les's first day in the job if I recall correctly, the book went straight in the bin as soon as Les left and a comment of 'I assume he's come to take my job again' or words to that effect.

You are preaching to the converted, I have never liked Reed since the day I was told he went into Alan Pardew and gave him his book on coaching.

Perhaps the size of the budget is reflected in the salary of who gives it out. Similar to the CEO of a council where the bigger the budget the bigger the salary

you may believe you have the monopoly on seeing through him but there were many more.

Very sad indeed, but better than praising the IRA who also killed thousands ( I suspect more that the UVF) and actually cosying up to them whilst your own armed forces and civilians were being killed by them.

as if they are going to take notice of a pathetic fan protest. Its comical a bunch of singing fans marching along. The media love it and look for the fans with a low IQ and sponge hands to interview. It is ridiculous. The only way to get any response is to really get a large amount of fans to boycott games and merchandise. Boycotting is tough to get a large section to do so, and s for merchandise, my granddaughter went to the Chelsea game she came back with a quilted saints jacket, and wanted the Saints training top , £55 for a girl of 7!!! The kids still are starry eyed and dont care about Les Reed they see Saints as their heroes and it seems are above Saints are crap syndrome. It takes me back to me being 8 and all I did was talk Saints and dream of playing for them, I thought they were world beaters and surprised when we lost lol. The days of Kirkup Sydenham, Paine, and Ron Davies. Oh the naivety of youth

I dont think Europe is utopia by any stretch of the imagination. I want to stay in for mainly financial reasons for our children and grandchildren. We cannot afford to lose 400m customers, who in the main are in the top 5% of the worlds wealthiest citizens. Add to that we need unskilled as well as skilled workers to do jobs our kids wont do. It is difficult to call, and if we come out with a decent financial deal then you and others have done well for us all,but at this time all the infighting needs to stop and we show a united front with the EU. The problem I see is that, Brexit has opened the door to the chance of JC coming into power, it seems to me that his strategy is to vote down any deal we get, hoping to bring an GE. It is not because that would be best for the citizens of the UK but for his and the people behind him political dreams. It will be down to Brexit that this has been able to fester.

I cant get my head around that the Brexiteers just think we as a Nation could just pull out and think it would all be the same. We can only get a negotiated deal and some will be unpalatable, but as long as we can trade freely with Europe we have got out of jail free. If not then we are in real trouble. Small traders and hauliers who I know who take items into and out of Europe are pretty concerned, many recall the days of when they used to have to go into bonded warehouses unload their items and have a full inventory on board. The time that added to their journey was unpalatable, let alone the queueing. TM has done a great job if she can make a deal anything like what we had before we leave.

Maybe we need relegation like we needed administration...

I saw a headline that the Leeds owner wanted a breakaway league of 16 clubs to make a 2nd PL type competition -
I like Bournemouth as they have good honest mainly British players who ruffle the feathers of the big clubs. They don’t have players who are wanted by the top clubs and so constantly unsettle the club. They just are happy to play in the PL with a young British manager who understands the game. Since Marcus died the real desire to be a top club went with him (it sums up my 50years of supporting Saints) just as we had someone who wanted us to push on somebody bigger comes along and takes him from us. KL only IMO wanted to oversee her inheritance and sold us to somebody with no ambition. If we were successful all would be hunky dory, but as we see now that every time we get a decent player or the start of a decent team/ manager they are taken. That is why we don’t like the PL we can’t compete and the penny has dropped that the good days are over for quite a time, Reed has overseen the downward curve and looking at what the academy is throwing up doesn’t give much hope there either

Tell Ipswich, Norwich, Sunderland, Coventry, Leeds and all the others who once were est PL clubs if it is so great 5 years or so on -
it was a crap game anyway.Martin Tyler pretends he supports a lower legue club but im sure he supports Liverpool
-
I probably would, its the commentators love in that gets me
-
Ive just smashed it after the commentator on the Liverpool game said' most teams have a song but Liverpool have an anthem!
-
No it wouldn't, they would have just scored a couple of minutes later. They were in total control
