  1. on the match thread I read a couple of posters sying that Redmood nearly made a hash of his goal, it seemed pretty good to me. That tackle was diabolical and we are fortunate that Valery is not seriously injured. As for the Brighton fans booing him!!!!
  2. I assume that Brighton have had a good start to the season and we are pretty nervous due to us needing to get some points on the board. I cant see us holding out as we are edgy it seems.
  3. I did wonder if like Clough was not the same without Taylor, perhaps Ralph is lost without Rohl?? Sometimes a partnership just gels and is successful
  4. I noticeIvor Toney has scored his 4thgoal of the season. I feel he could make the jump up to our level....what level that is. Al so Todd Cantwell another Imentioned last seasonhas scored today. About time the club had a new scout lol
  5. Is Bertrand injured???
  6. I cant ever get a gauge of the game by looking at this feed, the other day it was said that the Burnley game was dire and then it ended up the game of the day on Sky. Funny old times. I do feel that there are not 3 teams worse than us and we are in trouble. There again a good win and performance will change my opinion im sure
  7. were those all leavers who were telling us or in the remain camp??
  8. I voted remain as Ive stated many times before but at no time did any side mention that Ireland would become the central issue.
  9. I assume the whole of Ireland would et to vote on that? If only NI then no probs but
  10. you cant close the borders of course as they are porous. Perhaps we should make NI a state like Vatican city ( perhaps not the best example with the religious aspect)
  11. That's a bit unfair, he must be pretty well off as I was told he had a millionaires shortcake the other day. Only teasing Heis, lol
  12. not as much as if we try and let the South take over the North.
  13. :)Apparently once we leave the EU all our imports are going to cost a lot more according to the people who know and so our manufacturing costs will go up therefore the goods we try to sell to Eire will be a lot more than the EU ones. Problem solved lol
  14. I assume that is a joke? If you want to see a civil war like non before you will get one trying to do that.
  15. I suggest that you only need to be in the same town and it will be hell for him lol
  16. Lol
  17. well I watched 'the eagle has landed' Im not sure if it was a documentary but that Irish bloke was trying to help the Nazis.
  18. My daughter took my granddaughter to the Liverpool game and that cost £80!!! It is a madness and sooner or later the clubs apart from the top6 will have to take a serious look at paying players like Stephens 49k PW. I resent paying for players of average quality who can pass the ball less accurately than I still can who are on massive wages. Im tired of it and as I said to a Norwich fan thismorning being in the PL is for vanity only. I have watched a couple of Championship games this season and they are far more entertaining than most of the tippy tappy football in the top league
  19. I expect there will be a letter to the league as the ref was unfair as he only sent 2 off from the opposition
  20. I think you will find Sinn Fein did their best to help the Germans in WWII , but there were many other Irishmen who fought
  21. All the arguments on both sides can be compelling but can anybody suggest a way out of this mess? A way that will heal the wounds and also stop half the nation being resentful of the result? I fail to see anyway this can happen. If we go back cap in hand the nation will be a laughing stock and the EU will treat us with disdain forever and a day. We really need to strike a deal and get it over with or leave without a deal and rebuild,we cant stay in limbo like this as it is destroying the economy.
  22. PM means Private Message I thought, therefore I assume that means you are not expected to share them!! Obviously if they are of a threatening or grooming nature then fair game but somebody handing the hand of peace is a bit of a shame that it used to beat someone with.
  23. Big boy league, as it was light years ago when you last played in the top flight you will have forgotten how uninteresting the games really are unless you can steal a good side from HM Revenue, charities and the like so to compete, lol. I watched the Championship Fulham game on TV the other day and thought it was far more watchable than the PL stuff on show
  24. i voted remain but agree. Let’s just make the decision, it is the only way to start rebuilding. It is mad going into negotiations when the opposition in the deal know that you are divided, you won’t get a good deal until you go to them with them not knowing if you will pull the trigger. It is interesting that since we have started saying we are going to leave have there been signs of cracks in the EU,s member states unity
