  1. Whitey give it a rest, we all know you are pro refs and they always get it right. He allowed Everton to take the kick forward of where it should have been. That gave an unfair advantage that allowed the opposition to score. Yes it was in their half and we could have been stopped but the players were tired and the ref played more time that was allotted even taking into account the injury. Moss likes controversy as he want to be centre of attention. Everton scoring gives him plenty of camera time
  2. that takes me back to when Saints let a last minute goal in against Bolton years go when we were fighting against relegation. The remote control smashed against the wall. Since then I have tried my best to cope, today I would happily punch Jon moss in the face
  3. Well we have got a chance, hopefully the players have the strength of mind to pull this off
  4. Funnily enough they are just saying that on BBC final score about player power at Leicester
  5. I cant remember who was before Ranieiri, but they let down Claudio, then Shakespeare and now Puel. Initially theywere happy with Shakespeare but then their performances dropped. I would think Vardy an Mahrez are not good players to have in the dressing room
  6. That Leicester squad are poisonous, how many managers have they not played for now????
  7. yea they did turn up at the common mob handed, Southampton fair wasn't it? must have been brave nicking the kids candy floss
  8. Interesting that you would still vote out. I believe in 3 years or so that the feeling will change for you. We are going to end up with a pig in a poke, and we are going to be so screwed by our European friends that we will be stuffed. The US 'allies' have already said that to agree the air routes into the US ,will end with a lot of our airlines having to sacrifice some of their flights to allow the US airlines more of the cake. This is going to be many fold as we are in such a weak position that the deals we strike will be poorer than we would have got normally. It is death by a thousand trade deals, i'm afraid. Iam very proud to be British but that didn't blind me to the threats to us leaving the EU. The Eu constitution rules were always stacked against us, and was obvious we were stuffed. Early in this thread I posted an article from the Economist stating what the rules were. This was before the vote
  9. what an ar se hole
  10. I'm amazed you have come out with that! IMO I think he is the reason we are still in the hunt for survival
  11. whats the betting on that? lol
  12. Yep, I still like to flick through programmes if I come across them and like to see the old adverts for Watneys and Toomers etc
  13. No, it is just a nonsense. It is only a time wasting sheme in the hope of reversing the decision. Once you have agreed a negotiated position, I doubt you have any leeway to offer anything in return. I doubt many of the Brexiteers ever factored in that when we went to India for example to arrange a trade deal that they would come back and tell us that' Yes we will do a deal, but first you need to relax your rules in letting more of our people to enter the UK. So the anti immigration part of Brexit immediately is nullified with different immigrants coming in
  14. I thnk they sold small patches of the pitch to fans so that they couldn't develop it. Whether they registered the ownership of these small pieces is another thing

if you were the manager and had the responsibility of all that goes with it you may be a bit more cautious. It is easy to go for it when you do not have to feel the repercussions. If we go down by 2 points then you may have a valid point
  16. the excitement as a kid of looking through a programme is something lost to modern generations, also Shoot and Goal magazine, where you hoped that there might be a picture of your hero of the time, Ron Davies, or Mick Channon. Now you might get a spotty kid giving you a run down of a player hes describing. Yes the old codgers will die out, but at least they will have had the thrill of growing up with such pleasures. You can have your vlogs etc
  17. Hey Hatch great minds think alike, yours is better than mine of course lol. Whilst I don't always get a programme it is a tad sad this tradition is looking to be near its end,we all can view Vlogs
  18. Amazing how great minds think alike, Hatch has just put up a thread the same subject. Mods may as well delete one of these threads. Mine was 2 minutes earlier lol
  19. Whilst not pertinent to us yet, I heard on 5Live that the72 clubs in the EFL don't have to produce a matchday programme next season. Sad day if this comes to pass. Perhaps it will only be a disappointment to the older fan, as the young are happy to watch vlogs
  20. surely they are breaking the covenant every Saturday afternoon lol

Fair point. I wasn't a fan of Hughes coming here, but seeing the players and him showing a great togetherness may my heart sing
  22. So if we stay up you will still get £1200!!! What odds did you get for that. I don't do betting so don't really understand how this will work
  23. I think for 40 years there has been talk of Pompey coming down to join other fans against us. To my knowledge it has never happened. At Dellhurst park they were going to turn up, and of course didn't although there was 1 of them at the ticket office waiting for his mates, who never turned up lol

If we had opened up against Leicester and lost to a late goal, we would basically be out of it now. Lets hope that the point at Leicester is crucial at the end of the season
