I dont think Europe is utopia by any stretch of the imagination. I want to stay in for mainly financial reasons for our children and grandchildren. We cannot afford to lose 400m customers, who in the main are in the top 5% of the worlds wealthiest citizens. Add to that we need unskilled as well as skilled workers to do jobs our kids wont do. It is difficult to call, and if we come out with a decent financial deal then you and others have done well for us all,but at this time all the infighting needs to stop and we show a united front with the EU. The problem I see is that, Brexit has opened the door to the chance of JC coming into power, it seems to me that his strategy is to vote down any deal we get, hoping to bring an GE. It is not because that would be best for the citizens of the UK but for his and the people behind him political dreams. It will be down to Brexit that this has been able to fester.

I cant get my head around that the Brexiteers just think we as a Nation could just pull out and think it would all be the same. We can only get a negotiated deal and some will be unpalatable, but as long as we can trade freely with Europe we have got out of jail free. If not then we are in real trouble. Small traders and hauliers who I know who take items into and out of Europe are pretty concerned, many recall the days of when they used to have to go into bonded warehouses unload their items and have a full inventory on board. The time that added to their journey was unpalatable, let alone the queueing. TM has done a great job if she can make a deal anything like what we had before we leave.

Maybe we need relegation like we needed administration...

I saw a headline that the Leeds owner wanted a breakaway league of 16 clubs to make a 2nd PL type competition -
I like Bournemouth as they have good honest mainly British players who ruffle the feathers of the big clubs. They don’t have players who are wanted by the top clubs and so constantly unsettle the club. They just are happy to play in the PL with a young British manager who understands the game. Since Marcus died the real desire to be a top club went with him (it sums up my 50years of supporting Saints) just as we had someone who wanted us to push on somebody bigger comes along and takes him from us. KL only IMO wanted to oversee her inheritance and sold us to somebody with no ambition. If we were successful all would be hunky dory, but as we see now that every time we get a decent player or the start of a decent team/ manager they are taken. That is why we don’t like the PL we can’t compete and the penny has dropped that the good days are over for quite a time, Reed has overseen the downward curve and looking at what the academy is throwing up doesn’t give much hope there either

Tell Ipswich, Norwich, Sunderland, Coventry, Leeds and all the others who once were est PL clubs if it is so great 5 years or so on -
it was a crap game anyway.Martin Tyler pretends he supports a lower legue club but im sure he supports Liverpool
-
I probably would, its the commentators love in that gets me
-
Ive just smashed it after the commentator on the Liverpool game said' most teams have a song but Liverpool have an anthem!
-
No it wouldn't, they would have just scored a couple of minutes later. They were in total control
-
with speed of reaction like that you should be in our defence lol
-
To my mind zonal marking is a rigid form of defending and so it leaves the opposition easy planning how to set up for set pieces
-
Its not the manager, tis the squad of useless , slow in pace and minded players
-
Bin it, we let so many goals in from set pieces and so it doesn't suit us. We must have players who are asleep all the time, we have had at least 2 training ground goals against us
-
he gave up in the last 5 minutes and didn't try and run back
-
That was Nicolas plan, that Les screwed up
-
this was one of the reasons I logged in, it was stupid defending by Hoedt. To lose by 2 would have been an ok result giving them that simple chance added salt to the wound

you have no balls Mero, you cant face any form of derision or mickey taking. You have a long history of only showing up if Pompey are doing well. Apparently you wont let anyone on your site who show any negatives. Sad really as Im sure you're a decent person. Come on here when you are on a bad run , take the punches and you will get respect. Take a leaf out of Mackrills book,
-
I'm pleased Utd won, the media are on a witch hunt, they give Klopp loads of slack but are constantly trying to get Jose the sack
-
I disagree as Puel got us to a Cup final and a memorable run as well. It was only the latter half of his only season did the results go downhill. Mainly due to the fact that the club sold all the goals just before he arrived. I know its history but it would have been good to see if the team developed the following season once he had bought some of his own choices in

I didnt mention the poor, many people on low paid jobs work very hard, I didnt mean to imply that and so if I have insulted anyone I didnt intend to. I am an advocate that the low paid should be totally free of tax as it must be galling that they know they work while others sit on their behinds and get nearly as much for doing nothing. I was pointing at the workshy of course, I suspect you knew that and surprised that you hadn't clocked it.
-
His point was also I was scared of it, when Im concerned that I have to work harder and get less, just to appease or make life easier for those who just want to do nothing and hold their hands out. I pay considerable amount into the coffers so that the weak , old and unable are looked after. That is why I happily do it, but the crew that he is advocating that he says Im scared of, want to take more from me, and seems not to understand or care that is unfair.
-
it is to me. If someone who is sitting on its arse and preaching to me that I should work more hours a week than the majority of people, so to pay more tax so that they have more beer money then it is the point. For the lazy JC is a lovely prospect as they are going to get more for nothing. I left school at 16 and apart from the first few weeks where I got £4 a week I have used my own mind to get by and build something. So why should I get penalised more for actually putting a lot back into society?
