    Sakho

    Lol
  3. Is the loan window still open? If so we may still get somebody in
  4. If i remember coreectly we had been beaten at Everton the week before 8-0 and it looked we might have the same in this game. Terry Paine was one of a hell of player, his crossing was inch perfect.
  5. I think Jeremy Wilson has very good contacts at the club is pretty reliable
  6. Imagine Fellani enjoying set pieces against us, I assume we wil find out how effective our defence is if Carrol plays against us
  7. Well that worked then lol. The folly of the statement that Fonte would not be sold unless........
  8. This is something I have felt and voiced. I do understand the other side of the coin though, we dont want to go down the Pompey route (although they do have another trophy to brag about) Our fanbase has been brainwashed to be happy to be also rans, although I do see there is a little more agitation and frustration with the clubs policy from the younger fans. When I was at school it seemed to me I was one of a very few who supported Saints and had to put up with the plastic fans of other clubs who were successful in the day, notibly Liverpool and Man Utd Perhaps if we are to be the fans who watch the acadamy players etc brought here to play to ready for sale, perhaps the club should charge ticket prices like they did for the Arsenal game.
  9. nice one
  10. my logic is that if you are in a cup final already, you try and protect your players if possible. Especially as we had just lost our best defender to injury and we ar not completely sure of JRod and Yoshidas condition. I would also look at previous games and how the pricing policy was in the particular competition. It seems to me that the club have not tried that hard in the FA cup for some seasons, perhaps th priority is elsewhere. I can imagine the fans reaction, had we played a full strength team, got a couple of injuries and perhaps lost. I suggest the players had been emotionally drained from the game a few days earlier, I'm sure a lot of fans were as well
  11. Fair point
  12. but surely we had played weakened sides earlier in the competition, the club reduced the price to a low price, it was obvious to me that our powder was going to be kept dry for more important games. Had we lost to Liverpool I'm sure the team would have looked different. Surely you can see the managers priority especially with the amount of injuries at present
  13. Sure did
  14. basically yes. Please let me know when the club are reducing their prices dramatically for the top clubs visiting in the PL
  15. the business makes nothing or little from away fans. Some years ago I read that it was harder for Man Utd fans who lived locally were lower on the ticket lists rather than fans a long way away as people visiting from distance were more likely to spend in the club shop
  16. Pompey have just signed with Loreal 'because they are worthless'
  17. I cant believe you would be naïve enough not to realise that at £15 a ticket that were likely to field a weakened side. Normally Arsenal would be a Gold priced game, but they drop the price as they as are likely to play a weakened team. Yes it was a severely weakened team but it was not a surprise to me
  18. the fans dictate, well they do own the club
  19. about 15k of them turned up to get a better purchase history lol
  20. CB this is totally not your normal style!!! We cannot afford more major injuries and for me anyway the League cup final is paramount. It is not worth thinking the consequences if Romeu , Redmond Yosh get injured
  21. Ive been reliably told that the starting 11 tonight is the team that will start at Wembley, so please message me to sell me your Wembley final tickets you know it makes sense
