this thread will come back and be hilarious in a year or 2. He is a classy player and will be a massive sale for the club again

well it is hypocrisy, the only reason you have ISA's is to avoid paying tax, in so doing reducing the Governments resources, it is legal I never said any differently, but I don't go around spouting off about social justice. If you were earning £1m a year you would be looking for ways of avoiding paying 500k of it to the Government. It is how it is.

Very chunky legs

as its Isa's and so avoiding tax that's alright as its his money, but if its other people who will lose their money that's ok, you know the rules of Socialists Envy and jealousy, a true socialist would not bother trying to save paying any tax as they would be contributing to all peoples good. I would add that I do not have any ISAs

Corbyn will not change his manifesto for the next election unless he can offer even more inducements to get votes, I'm bloody sure the Tories wont fight the next election on their present one. The result has shown that a large number of people will vote for freebies, the Tories had better offer some lovely options, perhaps a holiday for all, they could borrow for the next generations to pay as well
-
Are they both legal? Is the idea of ISA's to avoid paying tax ? if not just leave it in a building society. You don't want to pay more tax on some savings, I don't blame you for that.
-
No different than the schemes by the rich and famous, legal ways of paying less tax. Of course as always with Socialists its ok if they do it but jealousy if others do

depends if the interviews were done in the South of France, if they were done in Woolston then perhaps you have a point -
Well it depends if it is undermining the Government or nations interests. I assume it would be ok for Farage to go over and start negotiating with the EU. We were at war (their words)with the IRA and so he was undermining our forces and giving them (in their minds) some extra impetus.

Please explain what exactly what a hard brexit is?? I have heard about soft and hard brexits but nobody has quite come out and told us

to be fair he is not a champagne socialist, but the majority are Brilliant bit of bribary getting the kids onside by offering free uni fees and £10 an hour. Not bright enough to realise that that will just price them out of work

So Lord Haw Haw was a f'ing hero in his contributuion making the peace. Neother had the permission of HM Government to go and talk
-
it is still avoiding paying tax in a legal way, I would have thought that soaking the rich and making them pay more would resonate and so you would not ever consider trying to avoid a tax
-
what , dont you want to pay your tax? as those are ways of avoiding tax

So the Everton game wasnt a superb performance then? Personally if we had Gabbi earlier he would have taken many of the chances we created during games. I like Long and he adds a bit to us but he just cant score enough from the gilt edge chances he gets. Jrod also -

time will tell, people in the main have forgotten the times under a true left wing government. I would suggest Wilson in the 60's being the last, and that turned out bad with us having to go cap in hand to the IMF. So the young idealists will grab at the ideals of soaking the rich, as they get on in life a large percentage with mortgages and hard work will then understand why they dont want to give it all away. Personally I would be happy to pay a bit more in if it was going to be channelled to the right people. I would love for the lowest wage earners to pay no tax at all , I cant recall what the level is now but anyone who works should be far better off than those who sit on their bums not wanting to do so. I would also like the people who have earned their money in the UK not be able to avoid tax on offshore schemes. Students should pay their way, if they didnt have their loans most of Southamptons bars and coffee shops would shut
-
he hasnt asked to leave but well informed journalists have said that he met Klopp and Liverpool his preferred choice. He doesnt need to come out and tell you and me all he had to do was sit and wait for the stories to fester and then Liverpool approach the club. Turns out it has backfired on everybody
-
He should have asked permission, Im sure the club would have allowed him after thy had been in talks with Liverpool. The clubs need to agree a price before the player can go forward for talks. I theory him compromising our position has cost us £10m as now Liverpool have told the world they will not be bidding
-
we would have met him after gaining permission for Celtic.

that is like being caught with your hand in the till and still allowed to keep what you have in your hand

we finished 8th and so those below us did worse against the others. Next season lets hope we still can say the same. -

Finding another manager who will say that the squad is good enough and we dont need more players is going to be hard. We could have a Klopp-Mourinho-Zidane-Pep dreamteam and they still wouldnt be able to get Long Jrod Tadic and our midfield to score more.
