  1. lol
  2. It was a bit disconcerting , not just about football.
  3. I do hope that the possiblilty of just walking is being considered with other options. As for the negotiations, whats the odds of it keep being pushed out into the long grass by the politicians on both sides. Having just one copy of the Lisbon treaty that nobody is quite sure of the wording is scandalous
  4. I havent seen the tax cuts, but I have seen him wanting to have a go at the Pharma industries to get the prices down so all can afford to buy it. Dont let your obvious dislkie of somebody get in the way of something good. He is also wanting to put his people back in work, that is again something you should be pleased with but your blind dislike for anything Trump distorts your view. Im not a Trump fan but some of wht he wants to do is pretty good IMO
  5. No dont want them to get to Wembley, let it be in the play off
  6. if we only win 2 out of 15 when he refs then im happy with Jon Moss etc. You may get excited about how good he is but to me he has not been great for us. I recall a last minute penalty away to Norwich a few seasons back, diabolical decision
  7. Interesting, I assume the damage to the banking and services may be too much to do so, but the way that it seems the EU is lining up to hurt us makes it a gamble that we should perhaps consider. The other thing in that article is that the only copy of the Lisbon treaty is in Rome. What a nonsense that all nations know what is in it. I doubt anybody on here realised that before that article
  8. Barcalona are a wonderful side but Messi is an all time great, when he hangs up his boots he will be hard to replace.
  9. Surely wages havent risen due to the fact that the Eastern europeans have taken any free jobs and so there is not a chronic labour shortage. Sadly when Brexit happens the labour shortage will mean there will be a clamour for staff and wages will go up, adding to inflationary pressures. Before you applaud wages going up, it will only feed through to higher prices and so nobody is better off. Personally I think we may as well go to WTO tariffs and get on with it as the EU will drag things out and I doubt we will ever get 27 nations to agree.
  10. thats it , thanks. I lost any respect for him when he put the tatoos on his arm. One of lifes show offs. Roger East lives on the outskirts of Salisbury and I know a couple of his mates and they met Martin Atkinson, who is a very grounded and dry Yorkshireman. Apparently a really nice man.
  11. Let him go, just another football ego who thinks he's bigger than the game. The English game has given him fame and fortune, hopefully it ends in tears for him. Didnt he ref his first game at SMS after being banned? I cant recall now why he was banned
  12. This Rolex made £135k , there will be people trying to configure spares to maek this up
  13. Agree
  14. that is not the point, if Arsenal had played a full strength team in any of the games we would have had trouble matching them, es[pecially at their place. I am happy that we played a strong enough side at their place to win and now be where we are rather than both teams playing full sides and us watching another at Wembley
  15. Its funny how we get all stroppy about the Fa cup weakened side but fail to recall that we faced a very weakened Arsenal team in the EFL which has now left us with a place at Wembley. If Wenger had really put out his best side that night we wouldnt be at Wembley now
  16. Not at all, there are lots of fans who dont want to buy membership but still pop along to games or still very interested in the club. I myself am not a member but have been to the corporate areas which dont count. You gve too much credence in being a member perhaps. There are thousands of fans who would like to go who for many reasons cant go week in week out.
  17. The Home Office is in London and so the chances are that it will be Man Utd fan dealing with it, no doubt it will be lost in a filing cabinet somewhere, I know I would if it was the other way around lol
  18. I suggest the fevour rush for us to get someone in has disappated as it is unlikely he would be ready for the final and we won on saturday....now had we lost to Sunderland it would have been going crazy on here
  19. I dont buy the fake or the real thing for my own use. I buy the real ones to trade on in my day to day life, although Iam very careful about the source as I said very early in this thread that the fakes are very difficult to tell nowadays.
  20. as the fakes are so good it just shows that the branded product is overpriced big time
  21. doesnt somebody buy the genuine one to show off?
  22. Im so delighted for you..............
  23. I dont think you can say all that about Les
  24. I NEED 2 TICKETS PLEASE My sob story to pull on your heart strings - I have been going since 1968 but havent for the last 2 seasons. I would be going with my younger brother, who is not as good looking, not as bright, and not as adept at sport , generally he is backward to me. I had a papercut last week and didnt moan about it too long, I also tore a finger nail and so if that does pull at your heartstrings and let me have a pair of tickets then you are a heartless individual, so there
  25. Having a player who puts the ball in the net changes everyones view on the type of football played under Puel. All those so called dull games with dull football would have been a lot dfferent had we scored goals. The feelgood factor of actually scoring makes the world of difference to fans matchday experience
