  1. depends who is marking him I suppose to get to 6.5 out of 10. If it is you then that is 9 in most decent judges ratings lol

    Les Reed

I would suspect that signing a contract is different to getting a player to stay if an offer comes in for those players. If the club really don't want to sell then we would see how good Les was at persuading them to stay , at present I expect he is on 0% success rate
  3. don't highlight your lack of assessing a players ability . I always thought the saying was sarcasm is the highest form of wit lol
  4. Redmond derserves to be one of the first on the teamsheet. IMO he is one player who is worth the entrance fee to watch.

    Striker Sale

Jrod is a difficult one. I get what you say but his goals against Bournemouth and Boro show he has still got something but whether he can ever get back the man re remember it is hard to say
  6. but that is the point of ths season, in the summer we were crying out where were the goals going to come from when we sold Mane and Pelle. Long is a fine team player but has never been prolific, Jrod does not look the same plyer. Had we had a decent forward who put the chances we created at the San Siro etc the season would have looked far better. The reason the games were so turgid was because the high number of goals being scored has not been there. Gabbiadini put the ball in the net for us and all of a sudden it looked like we were a better side when all it was having a better finisher. For me Mane was a player who got you on the edge of your seat and however poor we were paying he was likely to do something marvellous, that is gone although I firmly believe Redmond will do that more next season (if we keep him) Also I felt the performance at home to Liverpool in the EFL was a wonderful performance and better than most I can remember

He has coped without Mane Wanyama and Pelle. All would walk into the side add to the Loss of VVD Fonte, Austin and Gabbiadini (add Boufal to that although it doesn't seem much of a miss ) you have a very lower mid table team. I cannot see any combination of players beating any team around us consistently with the squad he has, and he has done a pragmatic job in keeping us out of a relegation scrap. Please tell me how we could have been more effective a side without risking us slipping into the bottom 5 or 6 places with what he has at his disposal. play 2 up front and that makes us less solid defensively, ca you expect Long JRod to get us 2goals a game?
  8. we were very lucky to draw with Millwall
  9. yeah shame we didnt play weakened sides in the tournament sooner so we didn't have the day at Wembley
  10. are you sure of that comment??? Especially as his away results would mean he lost nearly half the games

I have just hacked into Les's computer and found a questionnaire New Manager application form Questions in a yes or No format 1. Do you want a transfer budget If your answer is no please go to next question 2, Are you subservient If your answer is yes please go to question 3. 3. Are you happy to take the criticism away from anyone else at the club If the answer is yes please go to the managers office and start your job
  12. yep put his dugout in the disabled section and they can sort him out

To swop Ranieri for Puel is a big mistake IMO. I haven't seen evidence that the players are not happy with the manager, the perfomances are not showing lack of energy for the team. Not reading many peole begging for Silva today, and watching the lack of fight and want to win by Hull hardly shows him being Mr Motivator
  17. I assume some will want Paul Clement in as manager

yep RK could turn a 15goal a season player into a 35 goal a season striker he is so good. I agree though he is a better manager than Puel, but I recall you telling us how bad his team was last season how how useless our centre forward was.
  19. I still cnt get the vision out of my head of Corbyn and Abbott and their fling in the 70's..... Of course they were on a motorbike tour of Communist East Germany at the time. Just what they would love our country to be

an obvious difference, they didnt sell their prize assets. They kept their main goalscorer we sold ours. Take his goals away from Everton and see how well they would do

Hey dont start spitting venom at me Ron. If he drops players without them scoring, I doubt we would be able to put a team out. His lacklustre interviews are poor, but his English is improving. As for team selection or substitutions there has never been a manager in the world who doesnt do things differently than fans do. Your frustration should be aimed in other directions eg the board and Reed who have overseen the dilution of the quality of the squad. Add to that a very unfortunate run of injuries. It is odd how Fonte was marginalised as well, who was behind that I wonder

Puel has little chance of success as the fans have made up their minds and it would take a miracle to turn them on his side. We need a manger who comes out with funny quips and seem amusing on TV interviews, then mention how good the fans are even though we have lost 4 in a row. The fans will lap that up

but listening to Phil Neville a couple of weeks back talking about him in Spain and that is how he plays

defensive football and lack of goals, that is Hull surely. Silva sets up to defend and nick the odd goal. Same as Puel IMO It is unfair to get rid of Puel considering what he had to start with. The thing that will get Puel the sack is all those empty seats. I couldnt believe seeing them all when I watched some of the highlights

I would rather the 3 i mentioned than the 6 you did and add Pelle to my list. I and others mentioned in the summer that losing the major part of our goals that Pelle and Mane gave us needed to be covered.Sadly the club hid behind the signing of Austin rather than hm beng further strengthening to the forward line, that many would have perceived at the time as being the case. Puel has been shortchanged by lack of investment, add to that the loss of a couple of important players.
