  1. Id prefer a star formation
  2. well he wasnt listening if so
  3. Well when Les was interviewing Puel for the job he should have made that clear
  4. Lol, Im frustrated by the clubs direction, but to start calling for the club to be sold is a nonsense. Im sure like myself that a couple of quality signings that give the squad and fans a lift would be ideal. The team were not that bad last night but it was a lack of cutting edge, add to that my concens that the squad is thin considering we have to play in Europe and many extra games. I remember Everton a few seasons back looking in a precarious position until they manged a late run to keep them out of real relegation problems
  5. I think it is very sad that we point at players like Matt Targett. He is not getting the back up of who is in front of him and had to try and nullify Valencia who is tricky and very quick. Targett was one of the few players who actually got into crossing positions and tried to get the ball in the box. It is also rich that fans who have been saying to me that we dont need to invest then criticise the young players coming in to the team to learn their trade. Get used to young players being inconsistant and looking lost in our first team, as that is the future, as we get the worst bits of a players development before they are sold at high prices to rival teams.
  6. Well if we still owe money for Osvaldo then the club is not being run as well as people tell us it is
  7. well we didn't need the money to spend as its still in the bank.
  8. there is no way that Puel will change the system that made him successful
  9. we wont go down if we find the net enough times, but it is hard to see where the goals will come from.
  10. Toothless, and concerns that this weaker squad has to play in Europe as well. IMO I don't like Puels way he dealt with Long coming off, he seems like a hard manager but that is a luxury we cant afford with key players
  11. Got to watch the Man U love in with the 'experts' now The Riley bird who is a Utd fan and not wearing the short skirts that made her name, and knows little about football, and then the others who are there just to talk up the big 4
  12. My first concern from Puel, his non appreciation of Long as he went off is not good. We cant afford a forward not being happy
  13. Both decisions were correct IMO. Even Clasie didn't complain
  14. a more clinical forward and we would be in front. We do look as though we could still get a fair result. Utd have the top quality striker who made the difference. Our lack of height in the forward line may be a problem, but I will give the team a chance as they look the better side until it gets into the goalscoring positions
  15. surely with all these things it is not the quality of the information but the quality of the person reading it.
  16. the group campaign thingy was never around when we were a force in the 80's. You dont think SFC is not for making money for the owners, lol. Yep that's it, it is all about living for a saturday. Yep 40 years of following Saints from Switzerland home and away.
  17. Are yuo saying that the last 7 years brought you more excitement thant the years of Channon, Keegan, Ball, Williams Moran etc? Getting to semi finals regularly and even finals????

  20. funny that, but Ince still has potential as well as the other young English midfielder Derby have, I forget his name
  21. When the window closes we will see what ambition the owners have. It is not my business to make the plans for their commercial enterprise, Iam just a loyal customer that feels a tad unhappy.
  22. It depends on the owners ambition or plans. If they just wish for more of the same nothing will happen, you will be able to brag how you saw us finish 6/7/8 or even 15th. Enjoy, hopefully your way is right and we sustain a mid to high table finish forever more. Yep that will do us proud.
  23. Not the country to move at present with the political turbulence i would have thought.
  24. I would have thought if you have a house on an estate or road where they are basically all the same Purple Bricks would be ideal. Surely the problem comes with properites that are of high value where a smart London or local estate agent can do the work. If you are not experienced selling it is so easy to say the wrong thing innocently whch putss the buyer off even though it was not really an issue. Im not saying you have to deceive or tell lies but innocent things that dont seem important can easily deter a buyer. An example was that we were looking at a high value property and the vendor said to us that the next door neighbour was a drummer with a chart topping band, thinking that would enhance the property when it alerted us to a possible nuisance. Fprtunately for both of us, we took it on board but decided it was not a problem. It turned out that way and we are friends now. My biggest gripe with estate agents is their lack of follow up. I dont worry if the person looking doesnt want the house but just to get their reasons why and so then seeing if there is a pattern. Another thing is remember the public will mislead as much as an agent.
