This could go 2 ways, he could want to play hard to get a new contract or as you say be miffed. Personally I understand why hes cheesed off, the club and fans have hardly embraced him.Personally im all for solid proper championship playerswith a sprinkling of mercurial around the team.
-
The other thing is that if we stay down a few seasons we can see what you can build with little money after seeing the likes of Hull etc
-
I listen to 606 with Sutton and Savage phone in, it seems majority of clubs fans feel the same about their team/players as we do. Seems to me unless the player lives and breathes football they are hard to motivate, afterall you are trying to get multi millionaires to go out and get kicked/hurt and work hard, patently they dont need to after they have had a contact for a few years that makes them wealthy to really not care,

I thought his save was superb early on keeping it at 0-0, the back he couldnt do much about and McBurnie found a free Hull player. For the 2nd Flynn and Wood had hold of the scorer but Flynn let him go and Wood was weak. As my wife commented Wood was not at it at all the whole game and Quasie was unlucky t be subbed. Overall the keeper did ok and hopefully he will make a difference more often than not, not tht Im fully convinced

Also Jander was in the way. Finn will always see a chance to score. Sadly fans dont see what he adds and does create, although I must say he doesnt look happy

Comparing McKenna to the RM situation is way off the mark. McKenna has so much in the bank with the Ipswich fans, in my opinion RM was never really being all the fans favourite by the way he plays.

Im not proud to say but for the first time I booed TE and joined in with the 'you dont know what your'e doing' chant. To bring on a tall forward and take off the supply of crosses was ridiculous, ok Robinson did ok but Fellows was the only player who was driving at their defence, would have rathered taken off AA.

I saw a video online of fans in the Northam berating Leo after the game as he went to give his shirt to a fan, how thick some of our fans are. It is so depressing,
-
We sold Tall Paul for £8M? to a club who i think messed us around in the past. I strongly feel he would be on 10 plus goals now why?
-
The last time the heat was turned on the board with protests they got Romeu in, this seemed to calm the fans. I feel they need to get a player of note in to stop the unrest that is sure to come if they dont get their act together!!!
-
Leo seems to be every week, but we love him here
-
100% correct, what did we sell him for £8M? to be replced by£7m Downes
-
fair point but I was saying I was surprised he never pushed on. He has the attributes we are looking for, just wonder why he hasnt gone on, perhaps he doesnt have aggression
-
Im still surprised that Sinclair Armstrong has never pushed on, he looked so good at first at QPR but now gets little game time at Bristol City. He seems to me a classic Championship forward, big and strong.

Michael Caine and Stanley Baker in Zulu Jodie Foster and Hopkins in Silence of the Lambs Tim Robins and Morgan Freeman in Shawshank
-
Ooh Terry Hurlock hes another I dont see posting. I had the pleasure of meeting him in the forum games, a cracking bloke
-
take into account that Gyorceres was banging goals in left right and centre perhaps shows the talent pool is not that high with defenders
-
Ah I hadnt seen that. I hope he recovers quickly
-
The deal hasnt gone through as he dropped the pen during the signing
-
At the free event will we be able to park in the club car parks, as I dont really wish for my daughter and grand daughter walking around late at night whe there will not be too many people around
-
Has Lawrie been banished from the club? We dont seem to have him there as a guest anymore (unless health stops him) when he sould be lauded for truly puting Saints on the map. When he left us for Sunderland I was very bitter about it, but as time has gone on I now realise how much I and fans of the period owe him for the wonderful times he gave us. The players he got to sign, and the wonderful football he got the team to produce was exceptional at the time, especially with the resources available. Would be good if the club recognised him properly before its too late.
-
He will start with a clean slate going there might do him some good.....I doubt he will get a clean sheet though. Mark Robins is a good judge of player and so may turn him round
-
I recall when he broke through nobody could quite think where he could play. He is tidy on the ball but likea 3 legged crab. What set him aside and made him the golden boy was that he could score sme cracking free kicks. To me his corners were vicious but the speed he sent them in it was nye impossible to time a run to get on the end of them, at first at WHU he did set up some but they were tailored to winning headers
-
Oh my giddy aunt, this is incredible if correct!!
-
Im not sure, he must know the noise going on with the fans and if he remains stubborn the focus of the ire may well focus on him. He needs to win the fans around and SPors probably knows this as well. Of course this keeper may be as poor, but if he starts dominating the area I feel the rest of the team will gain some confidence. Having a keeper that saves the ball and takes the pressure off the defence by collecting a cross will breath a bit more into our defence
