Morgan has done himself a big favour or the club stopping him leaving, as by adding goals to his game he will become a target for bigger clubs than Spurs. Jan will be another uncertain time for us a clubs circle for our players.

I don't think Pelle is better than RL, but is a different option. I'm pleased it is coming right quickly for him, the idiots who wrote him off after a game or so need a word The Long deflection was a handball.

not a peep about it in MoTD etc, but when Spurs do it !!!

I think Pardew did well for us, and was gracious about us. He doesn't seem to choose which players the club buys and so is hamstrung

Frannie looks shot, poor sod. I hope the people of Southampton do come out and welcome him.He was not favourite Saoints player but he really deserves full credit for what he has done

I notice more and more English people i speak too are getting pretty cheesed how we are bowing and scraping. i wonder if the Scots have done themselves a bit of harm how they are perceived now? Surely the rules should be the same all over the UK

Pompey will probably bring their buckets along or try and get a part of the prceeds

I hope he is No 3, not due to ability but as KD just gets on with things without complaint

No government really represents my interests. I just will vote for the one who will hurt me financially the least. Iam one of societies payers in, and so unless the Government does something really terrible in my eyes i will sway towards the one who will leave me more to control my own destiny. That leaves me to put my own money to causes that i feel in touch with eg FB run and childrens charities or people i know who need help. I have many grievances with the Government, and most politicians as they are really only interested in getting power. Who they walk over never really worries them. My MP didnt return 2 calls i made when i needed assistance, my 1 vote wont matter if he gets in or not.

but the whole Scottish question comes down to one thing IMO finance. If they did not have oil there would be a guaranteed NO vote. Most people well all said and done look to what it is going to cost them. i understand a lot of people would like it to be about social justice, but when the push comes to shove it is how better or worse off they are going to be.

CEO of John Lewis saying that the Scots may have higher retail prices,

They still are PFC , the only way to them to really lose their history is for them to lose Fratton Park, that is the heart of the club not a trophy here and there
-
All those who think Welbeck would have been a cra# signing may have second thoughts now
-
I wonder if Clynes attitude when he played for England's under 21(?) did not go down well. I do recall his tweet of 'get me out of here'

Sepp Blatter considers "review of decsions"
OldNick replied to david in sweden's topic in The Saints
I still don't believe that replays always get the right decision. You only have to watch MoTD and you get different opinions of its a penalty. -
I think it is pathetic how our politicians are now looking to be begging for them to stay. I feel the Scottish people have their choice and seeing our representatives basically on their knees begging is cringeworthy. We will have toget used to a socialist nation on our borders
-
apparently we had agreed terms with Spurs and Liverpool re selling him but pulled out when the MS is not going statement came out. The news did surprise me as i am sceptical that he would pass a medical. Iam 100% confident of the source of this, as he has regular contact.

Southampton whiz Harrison Reed gets senior England chance
OldNick replied to Bermuda Saint's topic in The Saints
Why is it good news that Reed is with the England squad? To be around a group of overpaid egos who will be ex telling him the virtues of playing at a 'big club' can't be good for our club. Hodgson hardly has a track record of telling our players to stay at the club. No doubt he would be giving him Rodgers phone number -
Let them go, I still can't see why the Tories want to keep them, if they break away Labour will not get into power for years as they will lose so many Scottish labour. MPs

Luke Shaw is potentially the best left back the country has produced. Saints have done the groundwork, Utd now have to refine him more. Whether they have the tools to do it only time will tell. Since the golden generation of Becks etc they have failed miserably, considering the potential they have bought in the last ten years
