i assume that the 250000 fans who were on Southsea common and unable to travel to Aldershot will be on the bridges leading into Portsmouth with banners and flags welcoming home their conquering heroes if they win tonight

i'm one of the few who dont rate him. To be fair i havent seen lots of him though

I have been paying in a pension for over thirty years and are rubbish. The projections that were sold at that time 10% projected earnings never materialised. I was brought up at the time believing that you got a pension and it would look after you.

How about bringing up a Lallana thread, no doubt there would be many who felt he was irreplaceable. Lovren was a fantastic defender for us ,especially before his injury. He is a little boy lost now
-
LS, AL,RL, DL soon hotfooted it away
-
Another one of his powder puff shots, he was aiming for the arch

Thanks for that, it's great with the commentary from Solent

no doubt Allen is being lined up to take over from Martin Samuel or the like at a national paper lol

this is why i never yearn for our players to go on international duty -
Yep how you would be pacing the floor waiting for news of football in between them talking about a kitten playing with a ball of wool. I specifically recall the game when we were playing away to Notts County and if we won we would be runners up to the league title (PL now) only now and again was there a score update, also when we played in European games away
-
I hope all our players are on the bench

Some quite a lot of celebs I'm ambivalent about, but Warren Clark just seemed a normal man who was not up himself. RIP I'm sad to hear the news

Future Classic Cars from the 80's and 90's...
OldNick replied to Unbelievable Jeff's topic in Motoring Forum
Look at what is the classic cars booming now from the 50s to 70' now and translate that to the 80-90s. What you or others may think are ugly now, are the nostalgia for the kids coming through. Classic cars are about reliving youth. That's why you see loads of 60s something driving around in soft top sports cars. -
I assume they attend all the lodge meetings in their uniform

I'll take your word for it lol

was that a rhetorical question? Was Maskells return when he scored a vital goal against Liverpool under Bally?
-
Mick Channon was one of the few players to return to us and be a success.

MP is not a bad manager, but he misjudged his powers. I will hold my hand up and say I thought he would be a success at Spurs. It seems the personality and desire of our squad were of the correct type to follow MP's regime. Spurs team of big time Charlie's, who are overpaid and not hungry will not suit his style. I fully expected Lamela and the othe high price forward would fire under MP. I suspect Levy and MP expected the same. iam delighted that I was wrong, and hope we can laud it over Spurs for many years to come

I'm in Orlando at present and Murphys bar in International drive had the game on. Sadly it had Man U on as well, they have about 8 screens showing the games
-
The father is from Liverpool but told some fans that they were Liverpool fans when AL was looking to join them. To now tell the world that they are Everton fans can't help the cause.
-
Chelsea have a 8 point lead at the top of the PL then
-
i think there are 4 Chelsea defenders in front of the Liverpool ones lol
-
You don't recall seeing him elbow a saints player on the half way line when he played for Sheff Wed then?
-
funny that, when I told people on here he was an Everton fan I was shouted down by some who said they knew him and said he was a Liverpool fan. He used to tell the staff at SMS he was an Everton fan, but mysteriously became a Red when it suited.
