Yep we had the Smith was better than Niemi, Blayney was better than. Niemi, etc etc ,we then had the series of keepers who were the next best thing instead of Kelvin, funny that they all have faded into the distant past. talk about an ungrateful set of supporters. Davis was superb and loyal to the club. He has been given a handful of PL games,playing behind a disorganised defence who were finding their way. When he came on as a sub against Chelsea (?) last season he made a match winning contribution. Yes he is getting on a bit and lost confidence behind a shaky defence, but he deserves better than being compared to a 3rd choice rookie. Shameful
