Typical of many of here, a player comes back after a longtime out and he is slagged off. We have missed him big time, and whilst Cork is a decent player he is too lightweight for a lot of the more physical teams in our league. Welcome back Victor and well done Cork.

surely his arrival means that KL is more committed to the clubs upward curve not a man in a suit trying to uplift the clubs value. As for the trimming of the squad, were the players that have gone part of the backbone of the team,or even part of the first team squad? It seems perfect sense to offload those outer fringe players and the costs of having them kicking their heels here. Summer will tell us how committed KL is, if we dont buy and start selling the best players then the dream is over. Personally i would rather us make space for Gallagher to get games than have Billy Sharp at the club, for Fox to go to give space for Chambers etc etc The nations parents with the best young kids will be looking to let Saints have their kids rather than the Chelseas who never let their young players develop in the PL.

you should have seen the match thread when they scored the 2nd, it was laughable.

I agree he is superb but years ago we banged on about his lack of power in his shots. he needs to somehow learn how to put pace into his shots on goal. that could be the difference between a top player and a great player
