  1. Idont want to lose any game. The fact is that with our best team we let go a 2 goal lead earlier in the season. The players who came in did not let us down, we lost toa terrific goal and 2of our best players missed gilt edged chances. We had a team of mainly British players who know what the FA cup means! they should not need the manager to say anything to lift their game. It was certainly RL and KD ,Steven Davis last chance of getting to a cup final and so the defeat must be hard for them as well After watching Saints for nearly 50years I am used to seeing us fall when we should prosper, perhaps the last few seasons have given us expectations higher than they deserve to be, what we should really be concerned about is that MP will likely leave in the summer. We don't have NC who is a shrewd judge there to choose a successor, add to that many of the stars will be gone. The parking charges, and FB not allowed at the club will be small beer compared to what we may face this time next season.
  2. That's the problem of fielding a team of foreigners who don't understand what the FA cup means.......ohh I stayed up and watched the game on BT and was expecting us to look complete rubbish. Yes the Pompey supporting commentator was doing his job of winding the viewing Saints fans up by keep mentioning the weakened side and Sunderlands changes but if you turn the volume down we were not that much different than usual. AL and RL both had chances they normally would take. Shaws delivery was not as good as normal and we lost to a superb strike. I can't see how Morgan or Cork would have changed that much and expecting Fonte to play after the injury to his leg is mind boggling. If you haven't seen the injury you should and then realise he would have been mad to play, most of the loves I see playing nowadays would cry off if they had a splinter in their finger
  3. Wheras Facebook is the font of all knowledge Lol
  4. you dont want him at the club and so why do you worry. This will make it easier for him to walk now
  5. that is just rumour mongering and of course you have no agenda do you GS. The saame morons told us that Mark Hughes had to play, aka McGoldrick as well. You have to be pretty dim to believe that but i suppose it suits your purpose. You want the club to be unsettled. You are not Corp Ho i presume, he said he used a different name on this board
  6. yeah but at least that could do it privately. It excites them that they can criticise and look in their small minds that they were right all along. Afterall the players who they wanted to play would have played blinders of course
  7. we have some real sad fans, The abuse of RL is disgraceful. He missed a sitter, so he is all of a sudden carp and useless. Sometimes you get what you wish for and after MP is gone and RL also, you may then realise what berks a lot of you were
  8. you can follow your dreams as you can play your little anti MP games. You cant lose whatever the result.
  9. A couple of those quotes on there were tasteless. Only 5% allowed out each year! I wonder if the board will make sure they get theirs first as the creditors come calling when the time comes.
  10. Good one
  11. we need someone to deliver the pizzas to the fans
  12. Ok own up who has been phoning the residents of Pompey telling them to evacuate due to flooding?
  13. was that a trailer for the next series of the Office? Why do they need 3 journalists to go to that????
  14. Frightening, all those stairs you have to climb.....................
  15. i thought the entrance to FP was listed. I was looking to see where that was in the Tesco plan, apparently it is the entrance to the fish counter
  16. yep he will dislike us even more now
  17. yep i forgot about Ward Prowse!! he would of course be ahead of Gillette We certainly have been good at bringing through attack minded players but as for keepers and C/B's!
  18. Another if only, but if we had a team of only current professional footballs that came through our academies it would be pretty decent.Especially on the attacking front. I'm sure there are others who could fit in cropper Chambers Shaw Mills Lancashire Gillette Lallana Bale Chamberlayne McGoldrick Walcott
  19. Florida Keys , not very unusual I suppose
  20. for the second time in a month my business is flooding. The insurance company will pay for the first one, Im not sure if I will get help with the 2nd. My god its depressing watching the water come in in front of your eyes.....now who can i blame?
  21. did his wife run off with a Saints fan or something of the like?
  22. i think the artists impression is on a matchday, 4 cars and a dog
  23. Yet still those Pompey fans congregate in their tens of thousands – the solidarity unflinching in the fierce storms cruelly persistently beating their faces when are they congregating in their 10's of thousands? It should not only be fierce storms beating their faces!

I think what grates Hufton, it does me, when AB makes an error and poor distribution it is glossed over . When KD did the same thing he was slated. AB has played a handful of games compared to Kelvin, and as yet has not shown the commitment and loyalty that KD has, but is being given far more slack. I doubt many of our players would have turned down the offer KD hadfrom WHU when we were L1 . That decision was a major reason why we are where we are now.
  25. What a sad quote. What aid can we give to flood victims, if you pump it out it just comes back. I should know as I was pumping thousands of gallons of water for days. It has nowhere to go. You just pump it around and around.
