Hardly reality Tv though as most would see it. If so Candid camera etc would be put in the same category. As for the programme I found it quite funny, humour is a personal thing some find Harry Hill funny but i dont.

he still is quite young and has been doing well. he was thrown in at the deep end when we were in a mess, im pleased if he does well
-
I thought Yoshida was brave ,decisive and played well, ok he has a forehead that seems square and so the ball does not go where he /we expect but a great improvement.

Nobody expects a Spanish Inquisition

why??? he is guiding the club to better things. he is worth more than the rest of the goons we have had at the club in the past 20 years. Ok he may seem cold but if he puts the structure in place to guarantee a bright future then he should be supported. The saints foundation is another massive good thing the club does

He got applause but I think most fans were not looking as he came out waving and clapping, hoping for big reception. NC smiled before the game, when he acknowledged someone in the crowd!!!
-
I voted Shaw as he looks so composed for a 17year old. A top player in the future. Also how can you split MOtm when so many were so good

desperate eh?

First time watching them live this season. I have not been fully supportive of NA but if this is the football I will be watching in the future and NC will be fully vindicated by staying with him. Newcastle, apart from the first 5minutes of each half were totally outplayed. It was great to see no nonsense defending added to skill in playing the ball out, MS and COrk working well together in snuffing out any threat. The midfield and forwards linking into some superb counter attacking football. Magnificent play, and attacking threats from many directions. Well done, motm. NA he got everything right. The ref was poor. He should have either given us a penalty or booked GR if he thought it was a dive (I don't think it was) for a penalty.

Isn't it , 'Pompey costs every business £1300'

He will lift the clubs morale. It will mena QPr will take points off our other rivals
-
surely he was going to the Ukraine job, never a ruse to push hughes out of his job, lol I really hope Joe Jordan gets the Scotland job as without him HR is useless
-
Phillips is hardly setting the CCC alight, why we think he would the PL

I see the valuation is 'if there is a viable club' in other words if it is liquidated it is then worth millions more. brilliant way to get a bargain through the backdoor..ohh er vicar

Name dropper of the year.......umm not sure who that applies to lol , by the way Phil how are things going in Dubai?

At the end of the day the club were correct and have sold lots of shirts. Brilliant and a good kit as well

Do you really think all our players would put their head where it hurts/ i do not have the same confidence. I did not go to the match but watched the whole game on Sky. different perhaps and agree he did not dominate the back 4 all game, but it was when he had the ball and won the headers that impressed. I saw the best British centre forward play for us in the late 60's and 70's and he did not win everything (how people expect a forward to win the majority of balls played in is a surprise, as IMO the defender normally has the advantage) and Rl heading ability is the closest I have seen since. he is better on the ground than Big Ron was. Of course Dowie won a lot in the air but..... i do rate Kenwynne as well by the way.

Obviously not in your class The9, but i feel so much of his stuff is not appreciated. His instant control and lay offs were pure class, he can control a ball instantly. I believe he was superb saturday and feel he should be the first player on the teamsheet. I dont think we have another player in the team who would have put his head in danger for the first goal (perhaps Jos)
-
it is not about winning 50/50's people are saying MLT was class, but I dont recall him winning many headers against centre halves...or midfielders or Ronnie Corbett . RL had control of the ball and caressed it around linking with other teammates, for a centre forward he was superb

Craig David: My Team - The Saints (The Sun Newspaper)
OldNick replied to JerryH's topic in The Saints
you are not alone -
RL was pure class yesterday and the way he controlled his headers to get them into the path of others took me back to my hero as a kid watching BIg Ron Davies. Not only was RL heading great but his control and interplay with Ramirez, Punch and Al . We looked a good team yesterday and it refreshed my belief in the way the club is heading.

i think that NA has boxed himself into a corner, after he brought GAzza back after playing Boruc it is now hard for him to drop him for KD. I really hope Iam wrong, but Bart...I mean Gazza is an accident waiting to happen again. KD had a tough group of games and was looking insecure I concede that, but the defence against Arsenal and Man U was dire , he was left exposed. The thing that saddens me most is that the amount of posters who have sat back and waited to attack KD and do not have the grace to accept how great KD has been. It him and RL who have helped most in getting us where we are now.
