Exactly, playing the 'they will go out of existence' card yet again. i cannot see any judge allowing that to happen. The cynicism is there everytime. The one time when the judicary should have pulled the plug, she bottled it and allowed them to go and shaft a load of other people. The creditors who lost out since that decision should be allowed to sue her. of course it is not possible, but her decision cost many people their businesses and jobs.

The celebs will make the news but i suspect others will also get justice. Max Clifford, i do hope he gets put inside, the amount of wrong doing he has covered up for the celebs over the years. His knowledge of the rich and famous will get him off the hook, he only has to start intimating he will spill the beans (a bad trun of phrase perhaps) and he will be let off.

Fratton Park 84 enough said on that one. Dellhurst park MLT hattrick v Norwich When the policeman chased the half-time entertainment which was the RAF dog team thinking it was a pitch invader lol

i would not be so confident, Pompey will go to court and another dewey eyed judge will see the bunch of pickpockets and waifs standing in front of them like Oliver 'Please sir,can i have some more?' The judge will look down through his specs and feel sorry for this bunch of strays ,then look at that 'foreign type' who is here to just rip them off and feel kindly towards those poor souls who have been through so much. They will win IMO, yet against all logic but I believe it will happen

I suggest that the money will go into the accounts and could be snatched by credit card companies etc who are owed money. It seems a bad mistake and whoever brought this idea to the forefront needs sacking, whoever it may be. How can you expect people to not spend some of this money if they are desperate...or dishonest.

So the conversion team will be knocking on peoples doors to ask why they haven't followed through on their pledges. It seems a bit like debt collectors to me and if anyone gets 10 TTWTB on their doorstep they may well sign a cheque pronto. Hey the Saints fans who have pledged will give them a shock (or visa versa) when that lot turn up. i do hope they havent given their correct addresses as it could be nasty.

If it goes to court and BC loses, i assume he will get 2.75m mininmum, if he settles out of court hee will get 2.75m and no further money. i suggest he will go to court. All those court costs mounting up...oh dear no doubt Mr Allen and his consortium who donated around £100 each will also be generous in helping with those costs

If Gazzinga plays today i hope he does well. I wouldn't play him but Im not the manager whose job is on the line. if Gazzinga plays like he did after the goal the other night then i would not be surprised if we get hammered, he was shot and we were fortunate our defence kept the Norwich attacks at bay. Big call today

I didnt think Hoult deserved the chant, he is a player who has come up through the leagues the tough way and didn't deserve derision. iam glad he didn't score,he was not happy being subbed was he lol

The Saints matchday experience now compared to 1962
OldNick replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
i dont think the Florida restaurant is still going -
when Pompey were in danger of being liquidated, there were only about 3 or 4 of their fans outside the court, in this one will there be as many?

The Result Tonight v Norwich-How Do You Look At It...!?!
OldNick replied to dannysfc's topic in The Saints
Clattenburg was determined not to be contentious, but failed. He was poor IMO -
No they are saying all this because they wanted KD out and now realise they were wrong and do not have the fibre to admit they misjudged the situation. i have supported KD in the bad times but accepted he needed to be taken out of the firing line after the poor start, he should have been brought back in after Boruc.i shudder to think how he will react in front of the Kop!!! The defence had looked pretty secure until his mistake and then they lost all confidence and this unsettled the team. A dilemma for NA to solve
-
Chez i agree with a lot of that but your assessment of Yoshida is wrong IMO. He did well against the hussle of Hoult, he is settling in more and is not making rash tackles in dangerous areas. I thought Bassong was garbage at Spurs but he gels well with Turner. An old fashioned pairing of 2 lumps who just get the ball away. Norwich were a good solid hard to beat side, the mistake by Gazzinga gifted them the point and so they did not have to open up the game, something that we may well have capitalized on in the 2nd half. Shaw superb, the rest all below par except the keeper who was dire

it was chaos, I was still stuck in Southampton traffic at 11pm.
-
sadly ghe was like a rabbit caught in the headlights 2nd half. There were a few occasions where he should have come for the ball but didnt. How he will cope in front of the Kop will be telling. KD made fewer mistakes but got loads of stick on here, Gazzinga has potentially cost us 4 points in 2 of the last 3 home games. NA is in a difficult position, he brought Gazzinga back ahead of KD, if KD is now shot and plays and makes a mistake then where does he go from there? Boruc has blotted his copybook and so we up a creek without a paddle

it would be so much better if it was Pompey sponsored by Vanish

He believed that he could wait for the kick to be taken before moving!! at the time there was an item on Football focus about him and research done that proved that in most cases you have to go the right way just before the kick is taken to have a real chance to save it.Shilts believed his reflexes were good enough but the ball was in the net before they kicked in lol

Are we finally in a position to keep our youngsters?
OldNick replied to washsaint's topic in The Saints
If the club is in a good financial position and the player is happy to stay then we should keep him. I think NC's idea is that like Ajax a player leaves and there is another starlet to follow. Perhaps we are in a new phase where players who wish to play first team football stay at clubs instead of sitting on the bench. Ultimately though the pull of the CL will become too much nd we will stay in the cycle of losing our top young players -
I think they were 2-0 up and then fell apart against a poor Milan side on the night.
-
A bit tetchy , how many players have started well and then very little later. To say you wouldnt have signed those 3 so soon is a tad hasty, many are/were writing off Ramirez but after sunday would they now?
-
this post will come back and haunt you IMO. Yoshida and Jrod will be hits , i havent seen Mayuka to decide. As for Michu and Kone, they did ok on the first few matches but we will see. Iam happy with the puchases and hopefully some more in Jan wil bolster our squad
-
No doubt Pompey will turn them down and keep him, contracts and agreements, pah
