there is no way the FL will give them a points penalty in the position they are in. It would almost certainly mean the club goes pop, although Bc would be in a difficult position if he wants his money back. TB will be telling the league that BC will not take over if there is a points penalty and we know how toothless they are now Malwhinney has gone. I can't see how they are going to wriggle out of the high contracts , and that is the big thing that AA or TB have been unable to do amongst all the other sidestepping.

I notice on here that Charlie Brooks (Rebekka 's other half)is a Pompey fan. They are Camerons neighbours, perhaps that is why Cameron mentioned or rivalry in the House.

Iam wasting my last post of the day on this, you dont rate Kelvin and you put that clown!!!! This was the keeper who allowed a Tim Howard kick beat him, he had more clangers this season than a 1970's childrens show.Lol. Derry,We dont see eye to eye on keepers it seems. I am saddened that a player who has shown such loyalty to the club, who it could be said the performance at Leeds where his lone brilliance (apart from RL's goal) gave us the 3 points that ultimately was the difference. I would agree that you could point out many times when things happened that became the difference to our season, but to ruthlessly drop KD when he was superb most of the season! I am all for getting a better keeper but he would have to earn his chance not walk straight in, as i believe the squads morale and ethics could well be harmed.

No I dont, but this is not a book but true story. If it was a book it would be under crime and unsolved mysteries. I agree it would be a gripping book, being guided along and the readers being duped into believing that the big baddie was going to meet his demise. Each time against all the experts opinions the big baddie gets away with it, the finest brains and detectives trawl over the evidence and each time it gets to court or the day of reckoning the baddie wriggles free. Ok at first, the baddie was on a super yacht with silver and glamorous guests and now is in a rowing boat with holes in it, with only a few of the hangers on picking over the left over sandwiches but he is still afloat and you never know when a luxury super yacht may come and pick him up again as the have some dodgy money that needs laundering.

i was top of that league but there are only so many times you can tell people Pompey will get away with it. It seems to me many on here can't accept that they bloody have. i dont care how they are supposedly suffering, but they are still alive and that is not justice
-
i was released 6 months ago when i forgot to renew my membership. iam now allowed guest appearances 3 times a day, I think the squad is stronger without me. My experience may be needed now we are PL of course as the old heads are needed when the youngsters run out of steam

I agree totally, i dont understand the 'it is more fun them being alive' camp, it was a statement that was made by many when they were bankrupt in the PL, but still managed to creep to a cup final, they still fielded a strong side in the FL and still have the media licking out of their hands, whilst they yet again stole from the Charities. For me the 'the more fun....' camp are just deluding themselves as whilst the patient is alive and kicking there always is a chance of a full recovery. BC and AA have run rings around everyone and they know the No1 thing they have up their sleeve is that the football authorities will never wish to be seen to finish off a football club, especially one that has a decent history. The moment they get the golden share they know they have another season to survive. BC stated he would not let the club go into admin and so they were not ever likely to be liquidated. L1 is not so daunting next season as the major clubs will have been promoted, Bournemouth showed with a team of unknowns how well you can do and so i fully expect that a team of hungry new players could do well next season. Pompey will and have got away with it, for every relegation they have had the cup finals, memories and days in the sun the only true way of balancing that would be extinction.

I believe that Hart is the best keeper in the PL, have you watched his distribution, and he doesnt go to take crosses either. To drop KD would be a travesty and should be given his chance. if he fails then i would agree he should step down, but a player who has been voted the BEST in his league 2 seasons running by the players he is up against is no bad thing. We dont watch the other keepers every week and notice their howlers. Where's Richard Wright now? there were many on here who wanted to get rid of KD and have him instead, thank heavens the professionals didnt take that option.

Blackpool due to FatSam and Sullivan and Gold etc who have done their best to keep Pompey alive. I would have thought we would have a better chance of staying above Blackpool in the league and so that would perhaps be one relegation place less for us to worry about. WH will be more of a threat IMo

he is a Skate and so may ask around and get info a bit more than your normal journo
-
Watching him on sky has lifted him in my estimation, big time. Even when summarizing Man U games he has been even handed. After Man city had won the league he was very fair and congratulated them. im not sure if i was a pundit and the Skates had won the league i would have been so fair. It could be a masterstroke by Hodgson, just think it could have been Kevin bond Lol

Not so good if our voting gets them a good severance payout and allows them more time

Without a doubt Lampitt should pay the cash himself. It was on his watch and he drew his massive wages at that time, some of which belonged to the charities. Iam sure that the majority of Pompey fans would be ashamed of how their club have acted on this, some will blame others of course, but like all clubs fans there is a large percentage of morons. I have been away a week and wonder if anyone can tell me who has left them and if they would have got a fee. i looked back quite a few pages on here and couldnt see any mention. Thanks

is it not counter productive trying to get Appleton to go to WBA, the Skates will get a massive pay-off. i'd start to get Big Sam up the list. I dot want Pompey to get £1m payout for Appleton

the media are showing themselves to be spoilt kids because they didn't get their way re the England job, todays Sun headline taking the mick out of Hodgsons speech impediment was pathetic. i have always defended the Sun as it it is fun, but the editor to allow that !!!!!!! As for Saints, the club is very professional IMO no leaks and so the media dont like it. They need the stories to sell their papers. Nc will stir them up but not because he is wrong.
-
Surely that all stems from how the HMRC wanted to put an amendment in, that was outvoted
-
what is the story? 'Outrage as Man marries outside of family bloodline'
-
Duncan im sorry but you are wrong, I'm surprised you made a mistake there, it is not like you.It is Scott Hiley As for yesterday, I notice Meridian did the lead story of 3 Pompey players signing up to the Trust. Do they not realise how pathetic they who are taking massive wages from the club look as they sign? I also thought that Meridian were subtly putting pressure on TBH by mentioning him above all players there, it seems Pompey are trying to turn the screw to make life so bad for him that he will walk. Is it about time TB called Chanrais bluff and put them into liquidation? he keeps playing we are running out of money game, but now they have enough to June,it was not long ago when they weren't going to make the seasons end.

I cant believe that other creditors come out at over 3m. Didnt they do credit checks before supplying goods and services!!!! I wondered all along why the caterers etc still were supplying stuff, i assumed that they were cash on delivery but apparently not.
-
surely this will means clubs coming down from the PL will have an even bigger advantage?
-
I think I held back a bit, but you get my drift
-
TBH will go by 'mutual consent' if he finds another club to pay the wages he is getting now, (he may take a slight paycut just to get away of course) . i assume his agent is touting hm around but I suspect as soon as the clubs see what hwe is on they will run a mile. he is hardly a star player. If he cant find another club he will sit out his contract. I dont think Pompey could pay off his contract or even some of his contract. The deferred wages are a smoking gun, as I thought the players were deferring until the end of the season, that is soon. As for your fans, i agree that you are the darlings of the media, it must be great knowing that everytime Pompeyfans comes up, the first impression is of the goon with the bell. Such a proud thing to stnd behind. I have no doubt that the noise and animosity generated at FP is immense, this is due to the fact that all the higher league clubs have modern stadia and the fans are away from the pitchside. Quaint and backward, that could be aimed at many aspects of your club. You may hide behind your 'we dont want a pre-pack stadium' but in your heart of heart you know that until you get one you will again swim around the sewage pipes for decades, again awaiting a big turd to feed on. sadly you have gobbled most of them up, already eaten the s### and feasted until you have burst. Mackrill and Mero, i feel for you both, the rest of them on here, good riddance

no, but if as the server says it is so busy leave it 10 minutes to log on I can see a problem getting them.I have appointments this morning and so cant spend much time doing this. I am at fault, I for the first time in 44years not been a regular and not got a s/t for 30years, not complaining, if I miss it the club are not to blame, it is just one of those things. As long as we go up it doesnt matter
