  1. as they sell their tickets at cut prices in one of the more glamorous games of their season, just grab the sick bowl as the media start telling us how the fans are coming out in numbers to support their fantastic club in its hour of need
  2. sorry my reply was to the Skates quote, we as Saints fans bought tickets for others etc etc at the time of our crisis
  3. No but tickets were purchased by fans and given to others , 10 were bought and given out on the radio by a fan from here all to help funds coming into the club
  4. does the lad they are selling to Liverpool come into the 14 fir player. How can they in 1 hand say they havent 14 and then still loan out. Also if they get loans in will they have to go straight back as soon as the 14 players are fit again? Slowly more fans on here are starting to believe like myself and a few others that the powers to be really dont wish for the can of worms to be opened.
  5. BC will rue not pulling the plug on them, at least he would have got most of his money back. I suspect TB is looking very closely at the paperwork regarding BC's 17m and if he could somehow lose that debt Pompey would become saleable to the trust. I think it is the crux of the whole deal. Old Tiny Tears thinks that BC did not save them, all those plastic fumes he sucks in as he stacks the shelves is taking a toll. If BC had not helped by investing/giving a loan (when the rest of the world were not interested) Pompey were dead. For that act Im delighted if BC loses his money, I'll just as pleased if AA also gets his cumuppence as his manoevours also saved them. if a firm like TB had come in originally they would be gone by now,AA and BC who are now seen by them as villains really should be seen as Pompey heroes. They helped them carry on their cheating and Wigan of the South are still breathing
  6. IMO Chanrai of all the people ever involved in your club, is the one you morons should be worshiping. If it was not for his money Pompey would have been gone forever. He fell for a bad business deal and got the runt of the litter. Yes he has since run the club to try and squeeze some money back but i would say without doubt that if he could put the clock back he would never have got involved in the first place.
  7. Restructure their debts, = get the revenue etc to agree to take small payments over a long period. The CVA will also be strung out again. Its so galling that they are still alive and kicking but we should be used to it now. just wait for the players to flood in. They have a administrator who seems to be a bit more realistic and so the large wage packets may be a thing of the past
  8. Well if you listen to Prescott he says spend, of course the years under labour we did so and look what has happened. You can only spend on a credit card so long before you have to do something. We as a nation did so, and are now having to cut our cloth accordingly. Until we get our export earnings up and earn more than we spend we will be in this position. As the developing world take more of our markets we will suffer even more, we need to take the medicine and get on and lose the debt burden. it will be a disaster if we lose our credit rating as it will cost the treasury more to borrow and so the purse will have less in it to spend. That is why we have to carry on cutting.
  9. the reason for the possible down grade from Moodys is mainly due to the Greek debt and how that is going to effect us due to the amount of business we do with Europe. We have to hold our nerve and keep to the measures we are using to cut our debt. Greece are the Pompey of europe
  10. As I it, BC will now take a cut price deal and sell, Pompey will not go down and just stave off relegation. A group will buy them at a knock down price and the CVA will be pushed back so far into the distance the creditors will eventually accept less than 5p in the £. Saying that, i suspect the quality over quantity will be cast aside and Pompey will become what they were until their golden period when the taxpayer contributed to their success and be around the bottom of the Championship or worse. I still believe they have got away with it, and am amazed that other clubs just turn over and let their tummies get rubbed. The laughable phrase 'the football family' will be yet again paraded and they will be allowed to prosper. They did the dirty deed with their sister, wiped themselves clean on the best pair of their mums curtains and then walked away smiling. The media never mention the victims of their charades ie charities ,st johns ambulance etc, but the poor fans who had all those terrible days going to Wembley on the back of it.
  11. the judge questions that they are running solvent and then allow them the protection of administration!!!
  12. .Although, of the 12 who took part in the full session, eight were from the club’s academy. The remaining four were Kanu, Adam Webster, Dave Kitson and Aaron Mokoena. well the picture shows a lot of the first team squad in training, so yet another mistruth. As for today, if Pompey were a normal business I would expect that administration would not be permitted. As it is a football club with the MP etc really on the case and getting special meetings with the top brass at the Revenue etc i suspect they will be fine.
  13. I do hope we have made sure we get our money upfront. it does seem a long time ahead to sell the tickets and is it yet another way they are getting funds in to use to keep afloat?
  14. wouldnt a few of Brums games be classed as derbies and so a tad harder for them. To be honest we should have been still 5-7 points clear but messed up when we played Donny BC etc.
  15. He has no pride and cares little how they get their money so he can give it the big one. Just watch old Tiny Tears get all upset when they eventually do fold.
  16. AA always is one step ahead of the game. how many months years have we been told they are toast???? What the media need to be told is that the Pompey fans are not hard done by, if they hadn't cheated as a club for the past 6-7 years and racked up massive debt that they hid (even under MM, as the papers at the time were saying that they were in massive debt pre Gaydamek)their fans have had a marvelous time. I suspect most clubs fans would take the memories for the crap and walk away and support other teams , much like the 250k from Southsea common did. I have a little sympathy for those that followed them in Div 4 but the majority who come on here and crowed about how great they were but didnt have the balls to accept they had done it by cheating the taxpayer. Also now that Rangers are doing us as taxpayers out of 75m as well as Pomeys 30m is it about time football got its comeuppence

    Saggy face

Harry Redknapp is nothing without Joe Jordan. Jordan is the brains behind HR's coaching staff, we made trhe mistake of not getting him to us when HR brought Bond!!!! I wonder if Jordan would help England ?????
  18. they put the article about admin and then have this about loaning Wood from WBA, it is madnesshttp://www.dailystar.co.uk/posts/view/229730
  19. so the nation will be asked to bail Pompey out again. amazing
  20. The league will make allowances so that the tax man is paid. They will lend the £1.6m-2m against future money due to Pompey. I expect it will happen minutes before or perhaps the day before the petition is heard. of course the courts will also be very busy and the date pushed back again.
  21. it was obvious from the start that HR was playing to the gallery and the general public have a soft spot for him. The prosecution were inept and didnt even take him to task regarding him not able to text etc. That was quite easy to prove his lying. It looks again as Pompey will get away with it is going to be the way yet again. British law is the best in the world Lol
  22. also I suggest that AA and Lampit have spun them the line that if they gave them a points penalty at this stage the club will be unsaleable and that they will go bust, therefore the league will lose its credibility. They have got the league over a barrel and so can play them
  23. i am talking to my MP about it tomorrow, the lady in the office was appalled about it and then mentioned Darlington!!!Sdaly she said that the MP knew little about football. Hw about others talking to their MPs. Also Penny overstepped the mark regarding internal memos
  24. Exactly what I thought, they are playing to the gallery and yet again the prosecution is being made to look toothless.
  25. I cant recall our MP's asking questions of the then Labour PM when we were in trouble. We now have had both Brown and Cameron commenting on Pompey . Has anyone asked the Pompey MP explain how her husband got her those internal e-mails or do we only speak about it on here? I would have thought a journo, probably DM or Guardian should get the answers.Anyone on here send them e-mails about it?
