the WHU biased media will do their best to unsettle usc if it is down to the last game. Promotion is promotion so lets take it tonight. The nerves saturday would be unbearable and the team however professional wil be effected whilst the Civentry teams fate is sealed and they can go and play. Tonight please.

I thnk TB statement a week or so ago mentioned loan fees in, i cant recall how much but it was in the region of 400k the lot.

after the cost and time taken from work by a lot of people for the Peter Boro game, im not surprised that some again cannot go on another expensive day out. i suspect a lot of the critics are single and live at home fans, not with famillies to feed and support

was that not a payment of 800k that was released in 4 200k payments that they have already received ,or is that an extra 9800k. it gets quite confusing. I would love to see Sullivan and Golds faces (if they are in the Play -offs)as they look at the accounts and see the loan money to PFC. A desperate attempt to keep them alive.

I cant believe that Chaplow is getting stick....but then again we are talking Saints fans!!! His workrate and the way he broke up lots of P'boro attacks. He was a constant threat and whilst he is not the best at delivering a final ball, he does at least get there to do so and is by far the better option than SDR. RL did lots of quality play creating and holding up, no he dint have many attemptss at goal but the way he set up the third and his link up with AL was sublime. I shook my head in bewilderment when I saw KD being blamed for Readings goals, but there are always 'fans ' who are hiding in the shadows waiting to have a go. His save last night was wonderful (sadly they scored from the resulting corner) The whole team need applause and you could see they were up for it from the off. The fans even made Guly smile pre-match. Our support was magnificent Taunting the Boro fans with 'I've got a shed...' etc a bit off, don't forget where we were 10 years ago, I'm sure we don't want to be seen as big time Charlies. Finally I found the Peterboro stewards and anyone connected to the club superb and of all the away games i have been to the best ever.

Just had an e-mail the headline A week of laughs at Jongleurs Portsmouth. You dont need jongleurs for that!!!

lets hope Coventry are relegated before we play them, there i was hoping we could lose to send the skates down lol

To me Reading seem to fluke results, but they do it too many times for it to be a fluke. Away to WHU, BHA and us, they have been battered but won all three. That makes them deserved champions. I back the manager but I dont get his decisions, Sharp should have been taken off and Guly put up alongside RL to give us something different. Guly has scored qwuite a few this season and is sadly some fans whipping boy. Chaplow was missed when he was injured and has now been put in the team on the wing, not where he was earlier in the season when he was more effective and scoring. Note that Cork who is in his position has not scored. As for SDR, how anyone can make him MOtM is beyond me, did he do anything telling? yes he ran back after knocking our defender over and getting the ball off Roberts but creatively i cant recall a dangerous ball. After an ight of bad sleep and reliving the game over in my head im still agitated. The last 2 home games, 6 real attacks and 5 goals conceded!!! Jason Roberts was a master signing, apart from him Reading were just average, he is their talisman and whilst Le Fondre scored 2 well taken goals, Roberts is the reason they won last night.

basically Chanrai will be back, throwing good money after bad, there is no way he will allow the 17m to be written off and so may buy the club in the last minute as TB is about to liquidate. By then the players with high wages will be shown the door by Birch.
-
perhaps he ought to invite Neil Allen from the Pompey news Lol. NC is rightly getting good news put out about our club. In the long term football fans in Asia , USA ETC wont give a toss about what the Echo says about us or even some of our national press. If we are to develop into what NC and ML had envisaged they will have their eyes set on worldwide exposure and will cultivate good news press from friends. I cant ever see us as a major name in the world of football but it seems to me ML did, and we are at the very beginning of a longterm project. Whether it is a pipe-dream time will only tell, but it could be fun or complete humiliation.

Birch will start to get edgy as soon as the money looks very close to running out. There is no way he will risk having to pay the shortfall as an administrator. Reading his words it seems that the transfer window opens as soon as the season ends. Therefore a firesale will happen then. of course he has to wait until after the playoffs and so that is another couple of weeks tagged on

Lol sadly not, now if he was Pompey he would have had his own boat with the worlds best rowers all paid for by St Johns Ambulance

Just found out that William McMaster Murdoch is a distant relative on my mothers side. He was First Officer when they hit the iceberg, he shot some of the passengers who tried rushing the lifeboats. Quite a hero in Scotland in a small town near Dunfries.

If Pompey were liquidated now it would deduct 2 points from our total -6 from WHU , they could give us promotion Lol

Sold out , are we likely to get any more/

It was a derby, normal rules do not come into play. the side they put out is strong and they had the rub of the green. I am sick of not seeing any pace in the side and we do not leave defenders for dead.the loss off Lee is most unfortunate as he seemed to bring a zip into our side. Adkins should have played Puncheon last week at Blackpool where he would have gone back to his old club, and Chaplow today as his zip and aggression would have helped, as for putting a defender on in the last few minutes!
-
Did anyone else see how the ref and Varney did the very friendly high handshake before the game? (it wasn't a normal respectful handshake, but almost a high five) I hope somebody has footage of it)It was that of two very good friends meeting up, then within 2 minutes of the game starting Varney did Morgan with that tackle and the ref let it pass.
-
that is why they have made the 2 stands exempt from this offer.
-
it will be something that they will not be able to counter and just rubs in their fears of relegation and liquidation

'you'll never play here again' that is the song for saturday, that will find a nerve.
