  1. that would be a disgrace. His man management skills are appalling, add to that his Fascist salute and he can do one
  2. thats odd. i think it is a travesty how he has been treated. I was amazed when he didnt play in the first game and only came on as sub. So our 2 stalwarts who were the main reason for our promotions are cut adrift KD and now RL . I accept KD had a dip in form but RL!!!!
  3. The fans will go to the FL and give them the guff about them being owned by the fans, how badly they have had it etc etc etc and the FL will go all dewey eyed and waive the -10. I will be gobsmacked if the FL give the Trust -10. As soon as trhe trust tell the FL that the club will be liquidated as they cant proceed and the 'integrity of the competition' (lol) will be effected and they will cave in. I suspect they have already given the intimation in the talks already.
  4. i wonder what dork gave him the terrible dead leg in the first place.
  5. how can the league allow them to loan out players and then loan others in? It is laughable. Do the other league clubs just sit and watch and say nothing?
  6. Kenwynne left as he wanted to play in the top league. no different to Bale , Ox and Theo. Ok he went about it badly but if someone offered you 400% wage rise most would do their best to go. He still has a future and if he came it would be good for both parties as he has something to prove.
  7. NA PICKS THE TEAM.He is the man responsible for taking RL off when we were leading in both games. NOT NC ETC. Like Liverpool when they got rid of Carrol, we will have to do the same if the club feel we can get mo0ney back in for him. It is a disaster, and I feel that it will be hard for RL ever to get his form back now he would rightly believ3e the management dont think he is good enough
  8. NC has a lot to answer for regarding RL. The only layer to look any good in this league for us. If he gets a game his confidence will be knocked and no doubt it will take time for his form to lift. Pardew said you have to play him all the time, he was right.
  9. I assume it is unused if it is from this season
  10. HR needs Joe Jordan by his side to be successful. When he was with us Bond was the sidekick ,but Jordan adds the fear and steel in the dressing room. I always thought HR had a tough time here, he wanted to bring in quality but was left with dross. no real leaders and as he said at the time 'a quiet dressing room' I always will recall Claus face as he was waiting to go onto the pitch at FP, he was like a rabbit in headlights. When we got relegated any decent players went and we only bought Fuller (who was a decent player but the fans scoffed at him for being only 90k, and from Pompey, if you look back he was a bargain if he had been welcomed) HR had little to work with and add to that the insettled fanbase as our frustration of not going back up immediately took its toll. i think we were fourth when he left, and he could see the writing on the wall and jumped ship. i dont think it was spiritual home stuff, just the realization that the fans were going to turn on him.
  11. One minute you say the top people at the Beeb did not know but imply the NI people did, add to that only the NI people close ranks like the masons but the BBC don't ! Lol. Of course only the NI people were the only ones to know of the rumours, the Guardian journalists etc were too busy doing runs with Saville raising money for the good causes to notice. Double standards and hypocrisy . It sickens me that woman knew of these disgusting events and did not whistleblow. Nurses careers and people of responsibility helped cover for Saville. I accept there are many people who could not face up to the pressure they were put under, but for 35 years, it's incredible. I would like to think I would have done something, but nobody knows 100pc.how they would react. I would have thought RAntzen had the power to get the rumours aired ,why she didn't I really don't understand
  12. The last thing I would want is fans running our club. I noticed the meeting you lot had the other week, the questions were all very important like can we bring the price of the beer down etc. There will be the usual ones who want the celebrity more than the health of the club and will put their agenda ahead of what is best for the club. I prefer a leader who can channel the club in one direction, yes it may upset some but in the longrun decisions are not fudged. You are mates with Lynham surely you can get him to put his finances your way Afterall it must all still be there after the Pinacle saga
  13. I remeber hom for 2 things the first , his goal that got us to Wembley and the 2nd that Howard kendall played him in the Fa cup 84 semi final that completely nullified Mark Dennis's threat. The worst day in my suporting life
  14. Too much money too much waste? The other day on the news they got a helicopter to film a correspondent on the roof of one of the tall buildings in Canary wharf, due only to talk about the economy. The same reporter could have done the same report in a studio. Lavish overspending due to having far too much money. I recall Top of the pops being filmed live from germany(?) at the start of the World Cup there. Why?

If Carrol was not playing on sat it would have been a huge sense of relief in our dressing room, the fact RL wasnt playing gave theirs a lift. Apparently we did well in the first half, we dont know for sure but RL may well have taken a chance created. it is also a fact that he was taken off twice in games we were leading on and we lost when we were in control.
  16. For a midfielder who thinks scoring is what you do with a bit of chalk by a dartboard, who is the rock in front of the leagues worst defence I suggest you are being generous in your valuation. I don't see the adulation of him, but he is a capable midfielder only

Fans from other teams keep asking me why RL is not playing, and how they can't believe NA is not playing him. I suspect RL is wondering why as well, it must question his own ability. An Everton fan said to me , perhaps NA does not believe he is a PL player. I have yet to speak to another teams fan who can understand why he is not playing.
  18. A defensive midfielder in a team that has shed a record number of goals, I suggest is worth less than 2m
  19. Shearer doesn't seem to have much love of us. For a past player who set him on the road you,d expect a little more. He is dour though and so he might have been in a fit of laughter and you wouldn't know
  20. It's odd but Corp Ho used to call me Nick Nack on here
  21. Watching NA interview on MOtd i think he said 'we thought we had bought some good players in the summer' He must be pretty sore that the signings have not shone.I do think JRod will /is coming good
  22. thats great if he lives for another 100years. Their problem will be replacing him. It will be complete upheaval and they could end up like Liverpool are now
  23. If it wasn't for the oil Salmond wouldn't get a vote. If only we could reroute the pipelines lol
  24. If you may recall NC,s interview with Solent in the early days of ML tenure he said then that the club would not be left torn apart if a manager left. The club would have a structure that the manager was part of a system that was not reliant on one man. Pardew was the manager at the time. It is per pertly sound planing that if a manager goes to a different club and takes backwoods staff the club carries on in the same vein witha different head coach.how many times have we seen the club build and then the guts been taken out as a manager leaves. It has been painful, and if this way stops this then we have to build that structure. It is amazing progress at SMS in just 3 years, the foundations are being laid for decades not a one season fix. Therefore the transfers will be done by committee not by one man.it seems sensible, especially if you have a similar mindset all pulling in the same direction. I suspect Jonathan Forte was a player NA pushed for, who pushed for Gaston in the committee It is hard to say, but the days of HR picking the players and dealing with agents etc is gone.
