wouldnt a few of Brums games be classed as derbies and so a tad harder for them. To be honest we should have been still 5-7 points clear but messed up when we played Donny BC etc.
-
He has no pride and cares little how they get their money so he can give it the big one. Just watch old Tiny Tears get all upset when they eventually do fold.

AA always is one step ahead of the game. how many months years have we been told they are toast???? What the media need to be told is that the Pompey fans are not hard done by, if they hadn't cheated as a club for the past 6-7 years and racked up massive debt that they hid (even under MM, as the papers at the time were saying that they were in massive debt pre Gaydamek)their fans have had a marvelous time. I suspect most clubs fans would take the memories for the crap and walk away and support other teams , much like the 250k from Southsea common did. I have a little sympathy for those that followed them in Div 4 but the majority who come on here and crowed about how great they were but didnt have the balls to accept they had done it by cheating the taxpayer. Also now that Rangers are doing us as taxpayers out of 75m as well as Pomeys 30m is it about time football got its comeuppence

Harry Redknapp is nothing without Joe Jordan. Jordan is the brains behind HR's coaching staff, we made trhe mistake of not getting him to us when HR brought Bond!!!! I wonder if Jordan would help England ?????

they put the article about admin and then have this about loaning Wood from WBA, it is madnesshttp://www.dailystar.co.uk/posts/view/229730

so the nation will be asked to bail Pompey out again. amazing
-
The league will make allowances so that the tax man is paid. They will lend the £1.6m-2m against future money due to Pompey. I expect it will happen minutes before or perhaps the day before the petition is heard. of course the courts will also be very busy and the date pushed back again.
-
it was obvious from the start that HR was playing to the gallery and the general public have a soft spot for him. The prosecution were inept and didnt even take him to task regarding him not able to text etc. That was quite easy to prove his lying. It looks again as Pompey will get away with it is going to be the way yet again. British law is the best in the world Lol
-
also I suggest that AA and Lampit have spun them the line that if they gave them a points penalty at this stage the club will be unsaleable and that they will go bust, therefore the league will lose its credibility. They have got the league over a barrel and so can play them

i am talking to my MP about it tomorrow, the lady in the office was appalled about it and then mentioned Darlington!!!Sdaly she said that the MP knew little about football. Hw about others talking to their MPs. Also Penny overstepped the mark regarding internal memos
-
Exactly what I thought, they are playing to the gallery and yet again the prosecution is being made to look toothless.
-
I cant recall our MP's asking questions of the then Labour PM when we were in trouble. We now have had both Brown and Cameron commenting on Pompey . Has anyone asked the Pompey MP explain how her husband got her those internal e-mails or do we only speak about it on here? I would have thought a journo, probably DM or Guardian should get the answers.Anyone on here send them e-mails about it?

I wonder how the utility companies , Police , outside suppliers are viewing the situation at present. If any of you are council tax payers in the PO postcode areas I would be phoning up the town hall and asking that the council tax is paid to date and if not why are they not taking steps to get it. It still sems to me that they are going to get away with it again, the press seem to love MM and HR the jury were laughing at the banter and so are warming to them. The prosecution seem to be useless and a statement like HR made about not being able to text, that could easily be found to be incorrect has been left to float away unchallenged. Where do they get these prosecution lawyers?? it seems they pull someone of the street who has watched one episode of Crown Court to do the job.

you are not in Phils league. You need to do some namedropping and at least have been shushed away by one of the worlds top golfers aides. I suggest you go a bit higher and say you have slept with Dame Tira Kanawa (Spl ? lol) or helped her with her shopping bags, Hayley Westernra may help you along a bit but it has to be Phillip Schofield or better, Phil has kept a standard. He scoffed at me selling Madonna and Guy Richie some stuff, that was brushed aside by the Top Trump of carrying Tigers ex wife's brolly on a golf course. Sadly you are in the BSL at present come back when you can name drop in the PL quality

am I the only one that feels that there is only a little evidence and there are no major bombshells to come out? HMRC messed up the Pompey liquidation and if all we have got from this case is HR playing ther thicko but walks away with a small fine and the media still in love with him. He then has had little damage. I cant see him going inside on this little bit. I assume that now HR has not declared anything else and then the Revenue get some evidence he would then really be in the s###. Seems anything to do with Pompey and you get away with it
-
Funny how her other half is a taxman and she saw internal e-mails. I would have thought she has overstepped her position. Add to the fact that if Pompey close down there is the fans club that is ready to be set up, the club wont be gone but just the debt ridden corrupt copse will be gone and they can start again fresh, with much goodwill from fans throughout the world.
-
As usual Tiny Tears coming from Ho. I do wonder if his computer he uses come from Fisher Price
-
would there be interest on the loan due to Chanrai, of course the St Johns ambulance people etc dont count in Pompeys accounts. I wonder how much rate arrears they have, anyone wiht a PO postcode is being shortchanged, perhaps they need contact the council and ask.
-
they still had 3 more trips to Wembley, watched their side have an unfair advantage with better quality players. Im sure Rochdale Darlington fans etc would dearly love to have some of their punishment in return for the lifelong memories. Pompey got away with it. Hopefully that expression will cease to be very soon
-
I agree but AA is only trying to sell the club and are not in admin Lol. therefore the rules are not so easy for him this time. It will be interesting if the schools, St John ambulance and the utilities companies will be happy to hold off this time, they will not want to be out of pocket again.Any supplier will be on a cash only basis and so any limited money coming in will be soon gone. The gate revenue second half of the season is going to be less as they have had 2 of their best paydays in us and WHU and so the gate revenue stream will be lower. I do believe that the FL will pass some money to them, WHU wil putting as much pressure on them as possible as they have self interest. All in all they will stagger from 1 crisis to another, but whether they will come through this time it is very hard to say. Listening to Adam Blackmore on solent last night he felf they would be fine, and said that Pompey could not be compared to saints as they are not linked to their parent company!!

Well you say if Chanrai sold players HMRC would get the money first, in Pompeys case if he keeps the club running and sells the players they wouldnt see the money before it was gone. They don't have a charge over the assets at present, otherwise they would be paid before the staff etc. I find it amusing that money owed to CSI would be seen as peppercorn payment , the CSI debts include money due to Chanrai that he loaned/interest so i doubt he will walk away accepting a £1 to leave you debt free. Chanrai may take £5m but his record so far is to squeeze as much as possible before he can drop you. AA it appears to me answers to him first and so there is always a plan. Your plan/hope is that Chanrai gets to the panic stage where he will accept a massive loss, Im not sure he would do that, or will need to. You seem to have a habit of seeing people who you owe as only having to pay back a peppercorn amount but if it is ever the other way around, the world is against you. I expect you have some major allies talking to the FL, WHU for one who did all they could to help save you when you were in the PL.i expect a £5m offer will come in for one of your players, to keep you going as they desperately need the 6 points they got against you to stay in their total. As for Nugent i recall that he celebrated a lot when he scored against you, not reserved like i would have expected a former player who loved the club Lol

The folly of not getting players in at the start of Jan will haunt us. Surely it is not beyond the whit of our club to get things worked out in november/december. It is not wristslitting but a case of planning ahead. it is obvious that there is a weakness in our squad. Relying on Dc to be a backup for our forwards is a nonsense. As for the game last night, the best team won, they pressed our back four who crumbled ad lost possession. We had no forward who could hold the ball up and so we had to keep playing to the back, and so Leicesters plan and pressing them kept working. The midfield is so slow and predictable that we couldnt get any pressure on them. Teams up their game when they come to SMS and Leicesters team of B celebrity footballers loved the exposure the TV brought them nad gave it all. Matt Oakley must be one of the dullest match summarizers I have seen on TV, no wonder Redknapp said our dressing room was quiet when he first took over, if he is anything to go by. The whole programme was biased to Leicester.

So the club owes 1.8m to HMRC who is paying AA? all debt to be to be found by any numpty stupid enough to buy Pompey. So Chanrai may cut his losses and take 5m, add all the other toxic debt and the CVA, somebody will then have to still pay £20m + for the club. As for the player registrations, we all suspect that Chanrai is pulling AA's strings, therefore if he is going to take a massive dive, he may as well instruct AA etc to sell the players. Afterall, Lampitt stated last night that the current squad is worth more than it was when you last went into admin!!!!!!! (where does that come from?) If so Chanrai is still quids in by selling the players. The FL will without a doubt do anything to keep the club alive (parachute payments upfront again) and so no point deduction and turn a blind eye to you trading whilst insolvent. It is a scandalous state of affairs, but why should we be surprised. Nugent loved scoring against your lot as much he did us, by the way
-
It is quite amusing to think that you spend the day unpacking dolls and then going home in the evening going home and blowing one up Lol. At this moment in time I think liquidation, but I believe that AA has animal cunning and may well pull something out of the hat. HMRC will be the biggest threat but they may wait and see if funds are found. i doubt they wish to be seen to finish off a football club
-
I look forward to the day when I can at last say they have not got away with it. Tonight I think we are as close to waving them goodbye as they were when that female judge gave them a reprieve. I have tempted fate and now the worlds richest man will by chance read about their plight and bale them out! The HMRC must act again, I would have thought some of them would have a score to settle after last time, dont rely on the FL thye will do whatever to keep the integrity of their league Lol.
